- The climax of the movie has Dickens return to the factory he worked in as a boy, which is now run-down and in a state of collapse. Scrooge menaces him enough to nearly make him fall into a rotted-out pit, where nothing but the sounds of thousands of hungry rats can be heard.
- When Dickens turns the tables on Scrooge, he's dropped into his own grave as the walls start closing in, and ends up begging for his life and a second chance.
- The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come freaks out Scrooge and can scare the audience with its garb and solemn, pointing hand.
