Being a religious film from the New-Age, far-right spiritual movement Happy Science, there is plenty of moments that will frighten viewers by appealing to their morality and fear of condemnation in Hell.

As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • After saving Patrick and Roberto from falling into Hell in their first moments into the Spirit World, God Eagle explains that the world is a reflection of one's mind. In other words, sinful thoughts, such as sexual desire, material goods, or simply having negative emotions will be enough warrant for the person to fall into Hell, even if they're already in Heaven.
  • After the dead cross over the River Styx, they have to submit themselves to having their entire lives screened for an audience comprised of their other dead relatives and friends to see in a movie theater, all from birth to death. Then the audience gives their verdict to decide whether the individual goes to either Heaven or Hell. The very idea of having your life screened for everyone in the afterlife à la "That was Your Life" is scary enough, but here you don't get to wait till Judgment Day to go through this. Moreover, this means you'll be completely at the mercy of your friends and relatives as their vote will be either your only hope or your road to condemnation until you repent.
  • God Eagle accompanies Ryuta and Yuko in Edison's elevator to Hell, where Patrick and Roberto are trapped. While Hell has been explained in the second film as the domain of Satan, who according to the cult was an Earth-born Magellanic Cloud immigrant, this film gives us a detailed glimpse of how Hell works according to Happy Science's take on the "Three Poisons" of Buddhism.

  • The Demonic Realm. A dark, deserted place riddled with withered trees and malevolent entities who seek to enslave humanity, is the stuff of nightmares, especially when humans end up in it to be recruited. Moreover, God Eagle explains that most demons were former angels who, reincarnated as humans, took wrong turns or spread wrong ideas, like atheism or the tolerance of such. The thought of seeing every atheist you meet as a miserable demon hellbent on dragging humans to Hell seems very frightening.

  • Bihimoss, the demonic elephant controlled by Hisler to crush Ryuta and his friends. While the poor CG would make it laughable in any other context, it actually enhances the scare factor as, if you look more closely, the creature looks like a colossal crossing of elephant, rhinoceros, and hippopotamus, alluding to common depictions of its namesake, Behemoth. Moreover, its glaring red eyes and permanent scowl make it look like it's going to crush everything on its way.
    • It becomes even scarier if you know Buddhist history and lore, as Bihimoss' behavior is eerily similar to that of Nalagiri, an angry elephant sent by Devadatta to murder the Shakyamuni Buddha in the town of Rajagriha, with Hisler's obsession with killing Ryuta mirroring that of Devadatta with his cousin Buddha.
  • When Ryuta and his Hermes mecha escort Patrick and Roberto out of Hell after defeating Niches, Hisler, and Bihimoss, they're subsequently chased by demons on their way back to Heaven. However, even after entering the fifth dimension of Heaven, the demons open a hole in the floor and invade the realm. The corrupting presence of demons wilts the plants and render the soil barren while the sky darkens around them. Moreover, it only takes a returning God Eagle moving a whole mountain to cover the hole made in Heaven to stop the demonic invasion.
