  • The ambush in chapter two comes swiftly and with little warning. When Tenzin and his squad first show up on the scene, it's suspiciously empty until he runs afoul of a Dead Man's Switch and it all goes downhill from there.
  • Tenzin takes a missile to the...everywhere. Seeing what looks like his soul superimposed over his body is pretty unsettling. He survives, thanks to Jane, but he's in pretty terrible shape, to put it lightly.
  • Tenzin's childhood is the stuff of nightmares. His father helps him and his sisters hide when the Raiders attack and he witnesses their father kill their mother to protect her from an even worse fate. As if that wasn't bad enough, his sister gets shot later. It's already heavily implied earlier in the story, but no less horrible to see.
  • Tenzin's dream in chapter 4 becomes steadily more surreal until he's surrounded by the zombified corpses of his fallen men. They'e covered in blood and guts and dogpile him while reciting a Madness Mantra.
