Nightmare Fuel moments in the Miraculous Ladybug fanfic The Black Flower.
- Princess Justice is literally crushed by a collapsing building. When Chat Noir brings her out from under the rubble, it's said her body was mangled and bloody beyond any recognition. Worse is, the next chapter reveals that Marinette very much remembers the pain of dying.
- When Gabriel recollects the day Emilie created Felix, he remembers that she had a crooked smile and was crying. Adding that she was holding a baby, and the picture turns out rather disturbing.
- One of Wishmaker's victims' wish was being swarmed by several children. The guy turns out to be a fucking pedophile! This might also make the readers think... Just how many people had their darkest wishes being granted by Wishmaker?
- For sexual harassment and rape victims, Felix molesting Rose and Sabrina came come off as this. It happens off-screen, but it's said that Marinette was sexually harassed several times as well.
- Audrey's pregnancy of Zoé was not because of an affair but because she was raped back in New York. And in Chapter 12, the woman has a literal mental breakdown once she sees Zoé. It might be a fic, but her reaction was pretty realistic.
- Worst comes later as journalists floods into the room they were in and pretty much harass the Bourgeois family further, all the while Aurdey was having a breakdown. If Gabriel hadn't akumatize them, and as such saved them, Audrey's mind might have broke.
- Lila is revealed to have pushed Fu before an incoming car to steal the Ladybug Miraculous from him. While that is horrifying in itself that a fourteen-years old girl would push an old man to his (almost) death, it's made worse by the fact that Lila didn't even know the earrings were a Miraculous. So basically she almost killed a man for some piece of pretty jewelry. Not exactly a nice thought.
- Felix's death, despite how satisfying it is, is pretty graphic. His stomach has been cut open with one quick slice by Shadow Moth and he falls dead as his blood and intestines spill on the ground.
- Lila's death is no less horrifying. Multirat beats her up to a bloody pulp until she's unrecognizable before throwing her into the river Seine. While her beating is not as graphic as Felix's death, it's certainly more gruesome.
