• The game's intro. A shot of Dracula's grave, then the sky goes dark and stormy. Out of nowhere, a flash of light smashes the gravestone, a glowing bat flies out of it and away...Then the fog and the eerie, atmospheric music^note Heard again on the way to Dracula at the end, after defeating Death kick in as the text rolls.
• Everything about stage 6. The entrance hall to Draculas castle is basically a big hall for banquets and festivities, yet it feels terribly empty and ominous. Paranoia Fuel is bound to kick in as you have to contend with zombie dogs who can leap at you from either side of the screen (in addition to being literally unkillable) as well as the ghosts of dead nobles who are incredibly fast and have the ability to teleport.
