Nightmare Fuel / Soul Surfer

• The shark attack scene. All of it.
  • Bethany getting her arm bitten off.
  • The shark coming out of nowhere.
  • Bethany doesn't even scream due to shock from the blood loss so her friend Alana has to scream for help.
  • Alana's father's foot was inches away from being bitten by the same shark when they step foot back onto the beach.
  • Both cars racing to get Bethany to the hospital.
  • Bethany's vision blurring from the loss of blood and her pleads to God that she doesn't die.
  • Her mother's prayers while racing to the hospital. "Please don't take her! Please don't take her!" (Actually, pretty much all of her mother's reaction to Bethany's injury.)
  • Her father is perhaps even worse; he'd just been anesthetized for a knee operation when the call comes in and is unable to walk, but still drags himself down the hall after her.
  • Bethany flatlining as she makes it into a emergency room and the doctors try to resuscitate her.
  • Alana and Bethany's joint PTSD nightmares of the shark attack on the beach, finishing with Alana screaming from her sleep.
