How to center these troubled thoughts? I pray...

Tot Musica opening lyrics

  • Uta proves herself to be one of the most dangerous and powerful opponents of any of the movies thus far. And easily the closest to actually attaining her goal thanks to the Uta Uta no Mi. With it? She can trap anyone who hears her singing into a deep comatose sleep, trapping their souls in her dream world where she is a Reality Warper god, not just able to control those on the inside but also manipulate their comatose bodies to fight in her stead.
    • Had Uta's plan succeeded? She would have essentially KILLED 70% or more of all life on the planet! It's no wonder Akainu sent out everything he had to try and stop her. You know something is dire when her actions leave the GOROSEI basically shitting their pants in fear, unable to do anything but watch events unfold via video Transponder Snail.
  • The Wake-Shroom. Compared to all the various mushrooms Luffy ate on Amazon Lily that did all kinds of weird stuff to him? These are extremely poisonous. Eating them allows the consumer to stay awake so long as they keep eating them, even if they’ve been pushed to the brink of collapse and exhaust their stamina. But if they stop eating them? They will die. The poison also affects the users mind, causing them to become unhinged and aggressive. Uta knew full well she would eventually die from eating these… and that anyone under her power would have their souls stuck in her world forever!
  • Tot Musica. A demon that acts as the bridge between the world of the Uta Uta no Mi and the real world. 12 years prior to the film Uta accidentally unleashed this monster by singing from the forbidden musical sheets, as a result all of Elegia was destroyed, leaving only her and Gordon as the sole survivors. Moreover, the demon lured her into singing the tune.
    • At the peak of her madness Uta summons Tot Musica yet again in the climax. It's very telling of how powerful it is that it required the combined power of the entire Straw Hat and Red Haired Pirates crews, two admirals, two of the strongest members of the Big Mom Pirates, several CP0 agents and everyone else present on the Island and in the dream world to defeat this monster. And the Five Elder Stars are so friggin' aware of how dangerous Tot Musica is, that they didn't even object to this alliance.
    • The song appropriately titled "Tot Musica" starts with the lyrics quoted above. Other parts of the song are also displayed in an untranslated Elder Futhark Runic alphabet. After the previous songs, this can throw off the audience to emphasize the dangerous potential of this forbidden song.
      • Then while its being sung during the climax, there is the look of complete insanity on Uta's face during her present day summoning of Tot Musica, as seen in the page's image.
  • The film's opening has its own riff on the famous One Piece opener about men becoming pirates in the pursuit of "wealth, fame, power"...and then shows and describes average citizens in the world living in abject terror because of pirates turning up, killing people, and stealing all their money and possessions. There are snippets of people messaging Uta, telling her about spouses or parents who've been murdered by pirates, or whole villages on the brink of starvation due to pirates stealing all their food. The "Great Pirate Era" is all right for some, but for the average person, it's a complete nightmare.
