It might be slice-of-life comedy 95% of the time, but DAMN does this show get scary sometimes.
- At the start of Lover's Lane, a residential area is quite literally BLOWN UP.
- The entire concept of Forever Potions, really. They are potions that last forever, and after a certain point no antidote can remove them. Even more horrifying than most are the ones we see used that are specifically mind control potions: not only are you mind controlled forever, you know exactly what you are doing the whole time and are still powerless to stop it.
- How the Lycan Family came into their fortune. They quite literally went along with a madman's sadistic plan to create Forever Potions and sell them to rather malicious individuals, with all of the members of the group (except for Mr. Lycan) experimenting on their own children. Melissa's voice when she learns really sells it.
- Travis's recently developed split personality (or whatever's going on, anyway) can be quite a bit of Fridge Horror. It seems to be able to take over him whenever, wherever, with Travis having no control over his own actions, but being semi-aware of them. Really think about that.
- Aaron's calm fury when he finally defeats Ein. The latter's cries for help are completely ignored as he is seemingly torn apart by wolves.
