- The Iron Masks and Iron Cross troops, are essentially dead bodies Dr. Hell has reanimated by transforming them into brainwashed, brainless cyborgs. Since he evidently needed corpses, it makes you wonder what happened to the people got killed when the Mechanical Monsters attacked. Revealed with more detail in the Shin Mazinger Zero Manga where many of those killed Dr Hell's invasion return as soldiers for his army, including the super robot army pilots.
- Count Brocken is a headless body with the head floating nearby. Creepy!
- The method of punishment Dr. Hell uses on Baron Ashura shown in the beginning of Episode 58, namely, Dr. Hell places Baron Ashura inside a prison deliberately designed, and placed so that the oceans tide would rise up over it, which would've caused Baron Ashura to drown to death if they didn't convince Dr. Hell to spare them by begging for mercy. It should also be noted that this punishment was designed to let Ashura be completely aware of their impending doom to psychologically torment them.
- In the Gosaku Ota Manga, the Chip Kamoy. They were a species of giant, fish-like, man-eating humanoids from another dimension that raised herds of humans like cattle. However they had depleted their homeworld's natural resources and were running out of food, so they crossed over to our dimension to find more prey. At one point one of them declares "humans taste better when they are skinned".
