Despite being an offbeat comedy series, the show has some scary moments at some points.
- The Overture track that plays in Episode 1, using sinister bells, plucks, and distorted strings with old timey vocal samples to unsettle the audience.
- Jonathan tracking down a man in an alleyway, slowly getting closer to him as the man gets more afraid, eventually begging him to leave him alone. Jonathan then cuts the mans throat open, as the former holds the latter's head back to accelerate the bleeding, while staring off into nowhere with an almost childlike smile on his face.
- The sheer control that the Elite Fighting Club has over everything, they seem to know where almost all of their targets are with their advanced surveillance, the fact that the show takes place in 2026 makes it all the more worrying that humanity itself is getting closer to this amount of surveillance, Britian even having 1 camera per every 11 people.
