Chilly was a German Europop group that was active from 1978 to 1983 that also performed in disco and rock styles. Its members were Ute Weber, Sofia Eyango, Oscar Pearson, Brad Howellnote , and Werner Südhoff. Their hits include covers of 1960s rock/pop songs such as The Yardbirds' "For Your Love" and Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love," and original songs such as "We Are The Popkings" and "Johnny Loves Jenny."
Their first album features its titular song "For Your Love," which is the group's biggest hit and the only one that charted on Billboard's Dance Club Songs, reaching No. 38. Their consecutive albums came as the group declined in popularity through the years, except for a couple of small hits. They made one last single in 1983, "Goo Goo Eyes."
Nowadays, Chilly has amassed a large Russian following that dates back from the Soviet Union era.

- Break-Up Song: The previously unreleased song "One Moment One Second" is about a woman who terminated a relationship and gets satisfied with her new freedom.
- Camp: The group wore outlandish costumes and did bizarre concert performances. When they performed "Get Up And Move" on stage, all four members danced inside a giant white shirt.
- The Cover Changes the Gender: Their cover of "Friday On My Mind" is sung from a woman's point of view rather than a man's in The Easybeats version.
- Cover Version: Their discography contains numerous covers of hit songs from The '60s.
- Europop: One of the German Europop groups that were pretty successful during the late 1970s'.
- Greatest Hits Album: They had one released in 2011 titled "We Are The Popkings ... And Other Hits", which is one of the few official compilations out there.
- Multinational Team: Brad Howell and his visual substitute Oscar Pearson are the group's only American members, and Sofia Eyango originated from Cameroon.
- Shout-Out: In "We Are The Popkings," a voice gives the names of famous pop/rock artists such as Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin, all who were already deceased (except the The Beatles, who were disbanded) when the song came out in 1980.
