A game engine that grows with you
GitHub description

Profectus is a TypeScript-based (which is itself based on JavaScript) Game Engine that is intended to be easy to use, but grow with the ambition of its developer. It's inspired by Acamaeda's The Modding Tree, but it allows more skilled programmers who want something more from that engine to explore their ambition, which is why many of its games go beyond the standard tree design.

Its name was revealed on March 6th, 2022. The engine's main features include dynamic layer generation, NaNnote  detection, a saves manager, Vue 3-based components, and many other changes. The latest version of Profectus is 0.6.1, released on May 17th, 2023. While it has not seen as much adoption as Acamaeda's engine which remains a better option for those who want to create more simplistic games in plain JavaScript, some attention was definitely gained some thanks to the Profectus Game Jam in 2023 that led to four games with the theme of "break the cycle" and is likely to see other new creations in the future.

Its official website can be found here (don't mind its slightly Non-Indicative Name).
