It's the start of the bittersweet story of two girls who are more than friends but less than lovers!

Strawberry Fields Once Again (Strawberry Fields wo Mou Ichidou) is a time travel yuri manga with slice of life elements by Kazura Kinosaki. The manga was serialized in @vitamin from 2017 to 2019 and compiled into three volumes. It is licensed in English by Yen Press.

Strawberry Fields Once Again provides examples of:

  • Attempted Rape: In the original future, Pure was nearly raped by her former boss who even outright said he put a roofie in her drink. This was prevented by Akira recording the incident and forcing him to retreat before calling the cops on him.
  • Class Representative: Akira was made class president because she was absent the day roles were assigned.
  • Disappeared Dad: Akita’s father is alive, but he has a different family.
  • Flashback Twist: In the first chapter, a brief look at the older versions of Akira and Pure make it seem as if Akira is taller than Pure despite how much the present day versions of Pure and Akira show there is a big height difference with Pure being a head taller. It is later revealed that Pure was bending down because Akira was in a wheelchair.
  • Happily Married: Akira and Pure at the end of the series get married, and they seem like they’ll be happy.
  • Headphones Equal Isolation: Akira wears headphones on the cover of the first volume and is introduced as a gloomy introvert.
  • Minor Living Alone: After her mother died, Akira has been on her own. Her father is with his other family, and her brother is a shut-in.
  • Missing Mom: Akita’s mother is dead prior to the beginning of the series.
  • Nice Girl: Pure is truly a pure hearted soul.
  • Rescue Romance: In the original future, Akira saved Pure from being assaulted by recording her boss, and then getting him arrested.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Akira thinks Pure is this to her, and she isn't entirely wrong thinking that. While Pure is technically stalking her, she wishes to help fix Akira's life, so she can be happy.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: In the original future, Akira is unable to continue her dream of being a teacher beyond a year not only because she is wheelchair bound, but the injuries she received that put her in the wheelchair are becoming too painful for her that they take a toll on her body along with the fact the painkillers aren't working that well anymore.
  • Tragically Disabled Love Interest: It is revealed that in the original version of the future Akira was rendered wheelchair bound, and Pure was partly motivated to go back to the past to prevent this from happening.
  • Whole Episode Flashback: During the final chapters of the manga, we see flashbacks to original future Pure came from along with her motivation of going back into the past in the first place.
  • Yuri Genre: This is of the High School, Time Travel type romance with some slice of life and drama.
