Called a "twofer" by media analysts. A cast member or show participant which represents two TokenMinority groups at once. More stark when most other participants on a show are white males.

Many news broadcasting teams have a white male, and a female minority member (usually black, Asian, or brown (often of Hispanic heritage). This allows them to have a diverse appearing team even though the number of people on their crew is small. This "twofer" is a practice that is common in the industry, and is commonly criticized by media watchdogs and minority interest groups. In particular, the complaint that comes up frequently is that it limits the roles and jobs available to men of color. Unfortunately some of these complaints are themselves rife with UnfortunateImplications, since they tend to treat minorities as an either-or phenomenon, so e. g. only heterosexual males count as non-twofer representatives of an ethnic group, while gays and women as well as members of religious minorities fall under automatic suspicion.

Of course, women are not actually a minority in terms of numbers, but count as such in media because of the long history of their being marginalized.

Especially when the cast is mixed in its gender, ethnical, religious etc. makeup, it often happens that you find individuals who belong to several minorities at the same time, e. e. as representative of the "melting pot" of an immigrant society through the children of an ethnically mixed couple.

Also it should be noted that there can be strong correlations between belonging to one type of minority and another, for instance in a global context most adherents of non-Christian religions also happen to belong to non-"white" ethnic groups, which from U.S. perspective makes most Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists etc. worldwide automatic "twofers" (and the female ones "threefers").

Note: Obviously, this trope is not limited to combining just two TokenMinority groups.

* Manga/Bleach has Kaname Tosen. He's black and he's blind. What more do you need?
* Simon from LightNovel/Durarara is a black Russian who sells sushi.
* Nathan Seymore (Fire Emblem-- IThoughtItMeant no, not that one) from Anime/TigerAndBunny who is a gay black man.
* Jun Honoo from Anime/GreatMazinger -the sequel to Anime/MazingerZ- and Anime/Mazinkaiser. She is female, half-black AND half-foreign (she is the child of a black father and a Japanese mother).

* The Comicbook/X-Men and their spin-offs contain numerous members of various minorities, so it is no surprise that a great many X-characters belong to several at the same time, especially since the launch of the "All-New All-Different" team in 1975. For instance:
** Dr. Cecilia Reyes from is a "threefer": an Afro-Puerto Rican female (technically a "fourfer" once you remember she is a mutant).
** Along similar lines, Armando Munoz AKA Darwin is also Afro-Latino.
** And let's not forget Ororo Munroe, a.k.a. Comicbook/Storm. At one point in the comics, another character actually points out that she seems to have an even mix of African, Asian, and Caucasian features.
*** The somewhat mysterious origin of the Asian/"Asian" component to her features (which are completely atypical for the African community she comes from, and seemingly unique only to her and her maternal ancestors) is actually a plot point at various times.
*** The original intent was that her unusual appearance was a minor cosmetic mutation alongside the main weather control one.
*** There was also, during Claremont's run as writer, some rather strong subtext that she's bisexual.
*** She also believes in a mysterious female deity referred to as "Goddess" or "Bright Lady", which makes her an adherent of a (probably fictional) minority religion.
** Nightcrawler: German (especially language-wise), Roma (by adoption) and a Catholic.
** Sunfire: Japanese and probably Shinto and/or Buddhist.
** Banshee: The original one an Irish Catholic, his daughter (formerly Siryn) also female.
** Comicbook/KittyPryde: Jewish and female.
** Rogue: A woman raised by a lesbian couple who also happens to be bilingual (English and French) since childhood.
** M (aka Monet St. Croix): A Muslim of French-Algerian parentage who's depicted as AmbiguouslyBrown. Her father is also generally depicted as a black man, making him a black Muslim.
** Sunspot: Brazilian (speaker of Portuguese), son of a black father and a white mother, Catholic.
** Magma: Depending on her origin of mixed Roman and Amerindian descent, also Palaeopagan.
** Jubilee: A Chinese-American woman of indeterminate religion.
** Psylocke: A white Englishwoman trapped in an Asian body.
** Comicbook/Gambit: Cajun, American Francophone, Catholic.
** Bishop: African-American, later retconned into being part Australian Aborigine.
** Eiman and Uriel, the Apocalypse Twins, are half-Egyptian and half-Japanese.
** Bling, one of the young Mutants trained at the Xavier Institute, is African American and bisexual. Her crush on Rogue was used as a plot point in one story.
** Indra, one of the Indian recruits, is a Jain, member of a small religious minority not just in America, but also in his native country.
* Magdelena Marie aka Veda from the Order is half German, half Mexican, as well as female. This is somewhat lampshaded with her dropping her last name (Neuntauben) for the media because people had trouble pronouncing it.
** If you want to get technical, "Calamity" James Wa is an Asian amputee and Sgt. Milo Fields is a black paraplegic, as well.
* Connor Hawke, one of DC's ComicBook/Green Arrows, is a mix of White, Black and Korean. Artists and colorists sometimes strike: have trouble don't bother reflecting this in his depiction.
** Mia Dearden, the current Speedy, is a Twofer: female and HIV positive.
* In the Bat-Family, 2000}} Cassandra Cain is a Threefer: female, Asian, and has a learning disability due to her torturous childhood. The family also has Oracle (female, handicapped). ComicBook/Nightwing might count in the context of the Bats: not only is he Roma, but also relatively sane.
* Renee Montoya is the child of first-generation immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Afro-Latina, and a lesbian (So a threefer, maybe a fourfer if we are counting being female as a minority). This served as the focus of an award-winning arc in ComicBook/GothamCentral, which revolved around her involuntary outing, and as an ever-present factor in the background as she tried to make her way in the predominantly white, male Gotham City Police Department.
** She's also an honest cop in Gotham, which is a minority all its own...
* Katherine "Kate" Kane, the new ComicBook/Batwoman, is a Jewish lesbian with long (and complicated) history with Renee, which is ironic, considering that the original Batwoman and Batgirl were created in order to prove that Batman and Robin were not gay.
* Claremont's ComicBook/Gen13 run had a threefer - a wheelchair-bound black Muslim. Fourfer if you count his having superpowers.
** And the original Gen 13 had the Apache lesbian Sarah Rainmaker.
* ScarletWitch and Quicksilver from Comicbook/TheAvengers are the children of a white Jewish father (Magneto) and a Roma mother.
* Wiccan from the ComicBook/YoungAvengers is both Jewish and gay.
** His boyfriend Hulkling is a gay Kree-Skrull hybrid.
** Gay-Jewish-Mutant-Romani (from his sorta, "it's-a-long-story" mother, Scarlet Witch). Hmm.
** The same series has former New Mutant Prodigy, who is black and bisexual.
*** Ditto for Miss America (lesbian of Latina descent) and Noh-Varr (Kree-cockroach hybrid, bi/queer).
* Kasper Cole from the ComicBook/BlackPanther comic book series is the child of a white Jewish mother and an African American father. He ends up fathering a child with his Korean American girlfriend, who jokingly points out all the trouble the boy will likely end up having due to his unique heritage.
* Monica Chang from Comicbook/AvengersAI is a Chinese Muslim.
* Laura Dean, in ComicBook/AlphaFlight, is black, pre-pubescent, female, and autistic. Also, a mutant. (Not sure that one should count though, since it doesn't make her a minority either on the team or in the real world.)
** Also in Alpha Flight, Centennial was both black and old (the smallest minority in all of superherodom).
** From the original team, Northstar is gay and mutant.
* The 2011 ComicBook/TeenTitans relaunch introduced Bunker, an openly-gay teenaged superhero from Mexico. He is the first gay member of the main Teen Titans branch.
* The WildC.A.T.s character Voodoo is mixed-race (half-black and half-white) and bisexual. She was also the first black woman to have an ongoing solo series in the DC Universe.
* In the early 1990s, Franchise/ArchieComics had the short-lived black girl Anita in a wheelchair.
* The 10 ComicBook/CaptainMarVell or MsMarvel codename holders include several twofer token minorities, with all who use the codename being at least either female or alien, or both. In the mainstream comics, the original Mar-Vell, his son, and Noh-Varr are the only males, and all are (Kree) aliens. Several of the women are racial minorities in the United States.
** The first MsMarvel, Carol Danvers, the most well known holder of the names Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel, is a female human/Kree hybrid. At one point she led the Avengers team.
** The second Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau (currently using the name Spectrum), is female and African-American. At one point she also led the Avengers team.
** The fourth Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, is female, Pakistani-American, and has Inhuman (alien species) genes. She is also the first Muslim to headline a Marvel comics series.
* Echo (formerly Ronin): Native American, Latina, female, and deaf. Also, a cross-dresser.
* XWingSeries comics don't usually touch on this trope, but "Rogue Squadron 1/2", a short comic taking place just before the run on the Death Star, has four pilots from Red Squadron on a mission. These pilots are Wedge Antilles, Biggs Darklighter, Jek "Piggy" Porkins, and "Doc" Ceresi. Doc is a Twi'lek woman, though unusually stocky and androgynous compared to how Twi'lek women are usually drawn, and she's the one who pulls a HeroicSacrifice at the end of the comic. Everyone else is a human male. Everyone in Red Squadron, as seen in Film/ANewHope, is human and male. Wedge's Gamble later tried to justify this, saying that the Rebellion, in the beginning, was almost entirely a human endeavor, with only a few nonhumans in until the movement started to get off the ground.
** And of course the Darklighter comic drew Doc as slinky, slender, and clinging to her human male wingmates, once again highlighting that one of these things is not like the others.
* Scandal Savage from the SecretSix is a biracial (half white, half Native Brazillian) lesbian.
* The time-travelling DC Comics hero Chronos (no, not the supervillain) is Walker Gabriel. He was adopted as a kid and didn't learn his background till years later, although he was obviously non-white. It turns out he's half-Chinese and half-ancient Mayan. His adoptive parents, incidentally, were also a mixed couple, his dad being white and his mother Asian. [[spoiler: In the alternate timeline created when he saves his mother's life by erasing his own history, they adopt a little white girl, instead.]]
* Sunfire from Judd Winick's run on Marvel's ComicBook/Exiles was a Japanese lesbian. She was also in an interracial relationship with an AlternateUniverse version of SpiderWoman.
* In the 90's, DC introduced a character who was half-black, half-Vietnamese. Unfortunately, they named him Mongrel.
* The New Warriors had Silhouette, who was half-black, half-Cambodian, female, and fought crime on crutches.
* In Creator/GrantMorrison's SevenSoldiers, Shilo Norman (long established as the black Mr Miracle) is also AmbiguouslyJewish.
* UltimateMarvel has introduced Miles Morales, a half black, half Latino child, as the new Spider-Man.
* Even among the FiveTokenBand cast of the original ComicBook/AtariForce, Li San O'Rourke stood out for being a Chinese/Irish character, just so the writers could squeeze in an extra ethnicity.
* ComicBook/DoomPatrol has the villainous Monsieur Mallah, who is a threefer minority: French, homosexual, and a talking gorilla. Yes, there are enough in that last category on DC Earth for it to qualify as a minority rather than happenstance, they even have their own city in Africa.
* Ren Kimura from Fearless Defenders is Japanese-American and a lesbian. She's also an Inhuman.
* Suki Leiber, the main character of Goofyfoot Gurl, is a teenage surfer girl who is half Jewish, half Japanese.

* In the Series/Glee fanfic Story of Three Boys, Puck mentions a few times that he suppressed his homosexuality more or less subconsciously for years, because it was bad enough that he was the poor, Jewish kid whose dad left.
* Dr. Warragul Wirrpanda of Bait and Switch is of Australian Aboriginal descent, making him effectively black and South Asian simultaneously. He's also the TokenHuman in a command crew otherwise comprised entirely of RubberForeheadAliens (two Bajorans, two Andorians, a Trill, and a Pe'khdar).

* The movie Gummo had a black, gay, Jewish dwarf.
* The Family Stone had a deaf, gay son who was dating a black man.
* In the 2008 remake of The Women, Jada Pinkett Smith plays a black lesbian.
* The movie Film/ChasingAmy includes the character Hooper X, a gay black comic writer posing as a militant black panther expy in order to sell more comics.
* Dr Joshua Strongbear Sweet in Disney/AtlantisTheLostEmpire is half African-American, half Arapaho.
* In Roger and Hammerstein's 1997 version of Film/Cinderella, you have a black female for Cinderella (which may or may not count) and the Prince is Asian with a black mother and white father (a threefer).
* Taylor in Film/HighSchoolMusical, black and female.
* In the movie Cherish, there's a character who is a Jewish gay dwarf who is also wheelchair bound. He points out at one point how he seems to be beaten with an unlucky stick.
* In Rising Sun, Tia Carrere (herself a twofer) plays a video footage analyst with mixed African-American and Japanese parentage and a withered hand since birth. She explains that this led to her being ostracized and labelled an outcast in her native Japan.
* Tomboy from Film/SurvivalOfTheDead is a Black Lesbian which makes her a three-fer.
* 15-year-old Leonardo in the Brazilian short film Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho (I Don't Want to Go Back Alone): blind and He's refreshingly blasé about both matters.
** Same for its feature-length adaption, Film/TheWayHeLooks.
* Mako Mori in Film/PacificRim is the sole female in the main cast and she is Japanese.

* There is an old joke about a Jew and a black man sitting next to each other on a plane. The Jew notices that the other guy is reading a newspaper in Yiddish and quips "Is being black not enough for you?".
* In Brazil, there is one where a black Jew is asked if he suffers, and he answers in Argentinian accent, "pibe, vos aún no sabes lo peooorr!" ("you don't know the worst part!).
* Comedian Jasper Redd talked about how Atlanta, Georgia had the highest percentage of gay black men in the south:
--> "That's unfortunate. Those are two things you really don't want to be in Georgia. The only way to make that worse is if you were a midget."
* A popular radio show presenter was dropped from commercial radio in the north of England. The reason was that he created an on-air persona intended to be the meanest, tightest, most close-fisted miserly person anywhere in the world. To reinforce the point, he brought together the two ethnicities universally most regarded as being, er, careful with money, and created the twofer character of Angus [=McGoldstein=] (Scottish and Jewish). Listeners were not amused and cases were brought.

* Dekka of Literature/Gone is a black lesbian. And a Moof, which makes her threefer in the novel's universe. She lampshades it.
--> Dekka: "I'm black and I'm lesbian, so believe me, there are always lines."
** Also,
* Susannah Dean of Creator/StephenKing's Franchise/TheDarkTower is black, female, legless and has multiple personality disorder; notably, every other member of her ka-tet is a white male, except for Oy, who is a billy-bumbler (but Oy is male as well).
* Angua in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, at least in the first book. Later, other women (mostly dwarves) join the force.
** Played with because only one of her minority statuses is evident. For example, she says "Is this because I'm a w--" and gets cut off before you know she's actually trying to say "werewolf," not "woman."
* In Literature/Cryptonomicon by Creator/NealStephenson, the main character has deliberately hired a twofer:
-->"Since most hackers are white males, their companies are disaster areas when it comes to diversity, and it follows that all of the diversity must be concentrated in the one or two employees who are not hackers. In the part of a federal equal-opportunity form where Randy would simply check a box labeled CAUCASIAN, Kia would have to attach multiple sheets on which her family tree would be ramified backwards through time ten or twelve generations until reaching ancestors who could actually be pegged to one specific ethnic group without glossing anything over, and those ethnic groups would be intimidatingly hip ones--not Swedes, let's say, but Lapps, and not Chinese but Hakka, and not Spanish but Basque."
* On the subject of Neil Stephenson, Literature/SnowCrashs protagonist (named, oddly enough, "Hiro Protagonist") is half black, half Asian. This is referenced multiple times throughout the novel, particularly when a patron of the white supremacist "New South Africa" asks which slur Hiro would prefer to be identified by.
* Literature/TheDresdenFiles gives us black Russian man Sanya. Possible threefer, given he's an agnostic Knight of the Cross. When asked about his past, Sanya noted that he had to be careful when visiting small towns, because he was such an oddity that he caused accidents when motorists took their eyes off the road to stare at him. Of course, this made him quite angry and resentful when he was a young man, which made him an ideal target for the temptations of the Denarians.
* Lampshaded by Reba in Literature/RedDragon, the novel to which Literature/TheSilenceOfTheLambs is the significantly better-known sequel. She herself is a blind woman who works for a photographic film processing company; she jokes that between her and another woman, the company managed to pack eight different minorities into two hires.
* John Birmingham's Axis of Time trilogy featured a female black lesbian naval Captain. Considering the series is about a naval taskforce from 2021 being sent back in time to 1942, it didn't end well for her.
** The female British captain with Pakistani heritage fared better, though it was an uphill battle. Is having two twofers itself a twofer?
* The two brothers from Creator/HollyBlack's Valiant are Hispanic and African American.
* Frank Zhang from Literature/TheHeroesOfOlympus is Chinese/Canadian with Greek ancestry.
** Sammy is a Mexican-American mortal. [[spoiler: That would make his grandson Leo be part-black, too.]]
* In GoingBovine, there's Gonzo, a hypochondriac Mexican dwarf .
* Nijinsky from Literature/BZRK by Michael Grant is Asian and gay.
* Creator/Holly Black's Modern Faerie trilogy gives us Luis, who is black and .
* The Literature/MediochreQSethSeries takes this UpToEleven with Melz, who is old, disabled, female, blind, deaf and technically a witch when you think about it.
* In Literature/TheMortalInstruments and Literature/TheInfernalDevices, Magnus Bane is biracial (part Asian) and a self-proclaimed "freewheeling bisexual." And a warlock to boot.
* In Literature/IslandInTheSeaOfTime, Capt. Marion Alston is a black lesbian.

* Unique from Series/Glee is black and transgender.
** Rachel's dads are both gay and Jewish. One of them is black.
** And Santana is a Latina lesbian.
** Jake Puckerman is half black and Jewish.
** Blaine is gay and biracial (At least his actor Creator/DarrenCriss is biracial. There's been a few comments on the show that imply Blaine is as well but his race has never been explicitly stated).
* Series/BigTimeRush has Kelly who is black and a woman (and also the OnlySaneMan, if you count that)
* Celebrity Big Brother Australia, had Anthony Mundine, an Aboriginal Muslim.
* Thanks to racial blind-casting in Series/GreysAnatomy , Dr. Cristina Yang is Korean, Jewish-turned-atheist, and dyslexic. The explanation is that her Korean mother married a Jewish man after Cristina was born and thus the whole family converted. Now if ONLY the TV show could've been less afraid of showing gay people...
** Cristina is also the academic equivalent of a Twofer - a [=Ph.D.=]-M.D.
** Callie Torres, the resident Latina, is a lesbian at the moment, making her a threefer. She's definitely been confirmed as bisexual (although it was admittedly sudden and out of nowhere).
** As of season nine, we now have Arizona Robbins: lesbian and .
* Probably the most notable and obvious example is Uhura from Star Trek, who was black and female (and was almost the only recurring character with either of these characteristics).
** Hikaru Sulu has both Japanese and Filipino racial origins, intended to represent all of Asia to the audience.
*** Actually, Sulu was intended to be of solely Japanese origin. It was only when the producers found out Sulu wasn't a Japanese name they changed his origin to Japanese/Filipino.
** Hoshi on Series/StarTrekEnterprise (Asian and female).
** Geordi [=LaForge=] on Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration (black and blind).
*** He was originally going to be gay as well.
**** Originally--you mean he's not? I was lied to all these years . . .
* Another old example is Juan Epstein on Series/WelcomeBackKotter, a Puerto Rican Jew.
* Carter from Series/SpinCity (black and gay). Lampshaded in an episode where Carter refers to himself as a minority and a character sarcastically remarks "What do you mean, a "minority"? You're black and you're gay. You cover up two thirds of the Earth's surface. You're like water."
** There was also Janelle, a black woman, which came in handy when the Mayor was accused of being a racist. Not only did he bring up the various civil rights marches he took part in, he states 'I'm even dating a black woman'.
* Lisa Gay Hamilton on Series/ThePractice (black and female).
** Although there was also Eugene, a black man, and for most of the show's run the women outnumbered the men five to three.
* Lt. Van Buren on Series/LawAndOrder (black and female). This is lampshaded in one episode, where she notes that people probably think she got the job (as police lieutenant, not actress in a hit legal drama) for diversity reasons.
** In reality, that was the point of casting the actress. Originally, the cast of Law & Order consisted of six males, only one of whom was a minority. Two men were dropped from the cast (including the black male) and replaced with a white woman and a black woman.
** In the later seasons, Connie Rubirosa got the double whammy of being latina and a woman, working directly under conservative Michael Cutter and old-guard liberal Jack [=McCoy=].
** Dr. George Huang from SVU is Asian-American and gay.
** And on Series/LawAndOrderUK, Creator/FreemaAgyeman (who is black) as the assistant prosecutor.
* Cambridge on Series/PieInTheSky (black and female) -- may not count, since the series has multiple female recurring characters, but worth mentioning because she's a TwoferTokenMinority in-story, picked by her PointyHairedBoss as an efficient way of demonstrating his equal-opportunity-employer credentials.
* Marissa on Series/EarlyEdition takes this one step further: She's black, female, and blind.
* Toshiko Sato on Series/Torchwood, who's Asian, female and bisexual. The last one might not count since EveryoneIsBi.
* Lampshaded in Series/DoctorWho The Sound of Drums when the Master points out the diversity of the Doctor's "little band" of suddenly-fugitives: Martha Jones is black and female, Jack Harkness is a pansexual white male.
* Djaq on the BBC Series/RobinHood, female and Arab.
* Stevie from Series/MalcolmInTheMiddle lampshades this, noting that as a black, asthmatic man in a wheelchair, he can get pretty much any job he wants with his "tokenism".
* James Spurlock from Series/ThirtyRock is actually called "Toofer" because as one character says "with him you get a two-for-one; he's a black guy and a Harvard guy."
** Though a later episode had the gang coming up with new nicknames for him, one of which was "Threefer, because you're also gay!"
** This is Lampshaded in a later episode. Floyd interviews for a high-level job; Jack thinks he's a shoo-in until they see that the other candidate for the job is a handicapped black man. "You're not beating that."
* "Original Cindy" from Series/DarkAngel is a black lesbian.
* Bobby D. (the D stands for Dershowitz) from Series/InPlainSight is black and Jewish.
* Invoked in an episode of Series/TheDrewCareyShow, where Drew's brother Steve lost his job at Winnfred-Lauder due to being a crossdresser. After Drew manages to get Steve his job back, Drew asks if Steve is gay. When Steve replies he isn't, Drew says "That's a shame. If you were a gay crossdresser, I could have had you made vice president!" (paraphrased)
* Willow from Buffy, who describes herself in Season 8 (the comic) as a "gay Wiccan Jewess".
* In Series/ModernFamily, Mitchell and Cameron want to get Lily into an exclusive preschool and figure that they're shoo-ins because she's an adopted Vietnamese girl with two gay dads. They get beaten by an interracial lesbian couple, one of whom is Indian and disabled, with an adopted African baby.
* This is the entire main cast of Series/NoahsArc (African-American or Latino and gay), so the Token part doesn't really qualify.
* Angela Pearly-Gates Montenegro in Series/Bones is a "threefer": a half-Asian bisexual female. She's also the daughter of Billy Gibbons of Music/ZZTop and picked her middle name from his ICallItVera guitar.
** Cam is a African-American female.
* Series/Castle starts with the recurring character of Dr. Lanie Parish (African-American female), the local medical examiner and Kate's best friend. The latest season also adds Captain Victoria Gates of the same minority groups.
* Series/YesMinister: "The perfect representative on a government committee is a disabled black Welsh woman trades-unionist."
* Teal'c on Series/StargateSG1 is a weird version of this. He's the Token Black Guy and the TokenNonhuman.
** And possibly a threefer, since he also gets the first play MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch card as well (others appear later, but he's the first).
* On Series/TheSopranos, Meadow briefly dates Noah, a half-black, half-Jewish student at NYU. Tony, being the rather, uh, old fashioned father that he is, is not amused.
* Australian comedy Outland had Rae, an aboriginal wheelchair-using homosexualist.
* Leah, a black Canadian woman, joins Team One in Series/Flashpoint after .
* Series/Smashs Sam Strickland subverts this. He's both gay and black, but he's a big sports fan and a regular churchgoer, two traits not often found among actors/dancers. The actor who plays him downplays his sexuality in interviews, saying it shouldn't matter.
* Danny, on Series/TeenWolf, is Hawaiian and gay.
** Mason, introduced in Season 4, is black and gay. And since Danny wasn't in that season, it's likely Mason is his replacement.
** There's also Kira, who is female and of Korean-Japanese descent.
** Melissa [=McCall=] is a Hispanic woman.
* Norton on Series/WarOfTheWorlds is a black guy in a wheelchair, though the show also features the Native American Paul Ironhorse.
* Agent One on Series/WizardsOfWaverlyPlace is a black man in a wheelchair.
* An episode of Series/AndyRichterControlsTheUniverse has the main cast competing to find someone to fill a job opening, with the reward of a finders fee. Knowing they're looking for diversity, they try to one-up each other, culminating in Keith Richards having found a one armed, gay, native American little person (... who sadly wasn't a technical writer, but still).
** Similarly in an older example from Series/TheJohnLarroquetteShow, a manager position opens at the bus company which John mentions applying for. As the main cast boasts their ethnic background advantages over John being a white male, the next interviewee enters, a black, blind woman in a wheelchair. Everyone else immediately gives up and leaves.
* On Series/TheLastShip, Lt. Granderson is a black lesbian.
* Captain Raymond Holt on Series/BrooklynNineNine is African American and gay. He's actually is this in-universe: After facing large amounts of racism and homophobia in his early days as a cop, it took years to get his own command, and Holt knows the brass only did it to make a big deal out of having an openly gay commanding officer.
** Amy Santiago and Rosa Diaz are both female and Latina.
* Lampshaded in 30 Rock with a recurring character nicknamed Toofer. He is the only black person on the TGS writing crew, as well as the only Harvard graduate. He also fits the Black Nerd trope, being very smart, albeit pretentious.
* Steve Jinks from Series/Warehouse13 is gay and Buddhist.
* In Series/Porridge, prisoner McLaren, a man with anger management issues, is both Scottish and black. He is universally known among inmates as Black Jock.
* Series/HowIMetYourMother provides James Stinson, Barney's gay black brother. When being introduced, Ted makes note of how he's gay and intentionally leaves out how the white Barney has a black brother.
--> James: I'm gay, I'm black and . Those walking skeletons are gonna have more questions for me than their pharmacists.

* Music/WeirdAlYankovic invoked this with a threefer in the song "Jerry Springer".
--> "It's been three days since the bitter feud between the KKK and that gay Jewish Black dude."

* Wrestling/TNA has Orlando Jordan: Black and openly Bisexual.
* Darren Young, black and gay

* In Theatre/AnyoneCanWhistle, Hapgood interrogates a black man:
-->Hapgood: Occupation?\\
Martin: Going to schools, riding in buses, eating in restaurants.\\
Hapgood: Isn't that line of work getting rather easy?\\
Martin: Not for me. I'm Jewish.

* Sean Matsuda from VideoGame/StreetFighterIII is Afro-Brazilian and Japanese.
* Alyx Vance in VideoGame/HalfLife2 is a woman of black and Asian descent... which would make her a three-fer.
** Her dad, Eli, is black and has a prosthetic leg.
* The Demoman of VideoGame/TeamFortress2 calls himself a "a black Scottish cyclops", and laments that there're more f-<extended bleep> that the likes of him.
** But only because he hasn't lost both eyes like the rest of his clan always does by his age.
* Rochelle in VideoGame/Left4Dead2 is a black woman.
** However there is also Coach, a black man. This is a step up from the first game which had two white males, a black man and a white woman (also known as the bare minimum of multi-culti).
* The main cast of VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIV includes a local druglady Elizabeta Torres (Black/Hispanic female who is also implied to be lesbian or bisexual).
** And the Ballad of Gay Tony introduces eponymous Anthony Price who is black and homosexual.
* VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution has Arie van Bruggen, a black bisexual Middle-eastern/Dutch hacker who speaks with a Caribbean accent.
** Aaand still managed to insult him on top of all that, as he's neither an ally nor an enemy - he'll work for whoever will pay him or failing that, keep him from getting shot.
*** Including the player - giving him a gun to help escape from an ambush results in MercyRewarded - he lampshades the paycheck you get from Sarif, and puts several thousand credits in your bank account.
* In almost every game he appears in, Moby Jones of VideoGame/SSX is both the only black and the only British character. The exception was SSX Tricky, where he was joined by Seeiah, an African-American woman.
* Redguards from Franchise/TheElderScrolls, they are black people that live on a desert and dress in Islamic clothing. They represent both, the Black and the Arabs.
** They also have Japanese traits, though mostly in their backstory.
* Ashley Williams in Franchise/MassEffect is a woman, Hispanic, and the only openly religious person in a traditionally-atheist genre. Subverted, however, in that Franchise/MassEffect tends to make everyone the unique representative of some group on the team.
** Samantha Traynor is a lesbian and of Indian-English heritage. She does, however, speak perfectly clear RP-english and went to Oxford.
** Steve Cortez is a Latin-American and widower to his dead husband.

* From Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses:
** WebVideo/ThatDudeInTheSuede is an New Zealander Mormon.
** That Chick with the Goggles is an African-German.
** Benzaie is an French Bisexual Atheist.
** DiamandaHagan is an Irish Married Lesbian Atheist.
* Zaboo in WebVideo/TheGuild is a self described "Hinjew", half Indian, half Jewish.
* Chaka, among others in the Literature/WhateleyUniverse. Chaka is a black female bisexual transgender mutant. Is there such a thing as a fivefer? (Pretty much everyone in Poe Cottage at Whateley Academy is automatically a twofer or threefer, since they're all mutants and all [=LGBTI=], and about half of them are female.)
** And she's 'running up the walls' hyperactive. Sixfer?
** Totem and Lady Astarte count as mutants with that rarest of minorities in superhero works: age. Totem is over a hundred, and Lady Astarte is in her seventies. Both are still badass.
* StatlessAndTactless: "Soo" is shorthand for "Soraya", a middle-eastern name. She's also the only woman in the group.
* Carlos The Scientist from Podcast/WelcomeToNightVale is a gay Latino man. Possibly some others count also, but character descriptions are kept deliberately vague, so its hard to be sure.
* Parodied on Website/SFDebris in a mock discussion between the producers of Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration over whether or not Geordi [=LaForge=] could be written as black, blind, and gay.

* Foxxy Love on WesternAnimation/DrawnTogether is also a threefer: black, female, and bisexual (though EveryoneIsBi according to RuleOfFunny).
* Elisa Maza from WesternAnimation/Gargoyles: originally the only major female hero, with a black mother and Native American father.
** Originally Elisa was Hispanic. She was made half-black and half-Native American to match her voice actress, Salli Richardson.
* When Dale on WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill is being opposed for Gun Club President, he states that his opponent has "already got the black vote -- Earl -- and the gay vote -- Earl."
* Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa on WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy. (Asian and female) But that is, of course, part of the point.
* Supposedly Alexis in WesternAnimation/TransformersArmada is Vietnamese. However, it's never mentioned anywhere but a writer interview and she looks pretty dang white, so it might not count.
* WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated has the Indian girl Sari as the main human character.
* WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime has Miko, who is Japanese and the only girl of the three human sidekicks.
* Isabella Garcia-Shapiro from WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb - the only female in the FiveManBand, she is half Hispanic (specifically Mexican) and half Jewish.
** Danville apparently has enough of a Mexican-Jewish population to hold a Mexican-Jewish Cultural Festival. Oy-le!
*** In fact, given the fact that her mother, Mrs. Garcia-Shapiro, attends that festival and displays some ashkenazi traits, it's possible that Isabella is fully Jewish and half Mexican, or even fully both, depending on her father's ethnicity (he's tan and somewhat hook-nosed, though not offensively so); It might have been his parents whose last names were originally Garcia and Shapiro, after all.
* Lena Mack from Street Sharks. She's also virtually the only woman there.
** Augura of WesternAnimation/HotWheelsBattleForce5 (black female in a team of guys) is pretty much a younger version of Lena.
** Not the first time a Nerd Corps show used this trope, as before Augura, there was Piper of the WesternAnimation/StormHawks -- who is also AmbiguouslyGay. (In both cases, one can argue for another character sharing one of their minority traits: the Storm Hawks also have the dark-skinned rhino-like Junko, while the Battle Force 5 get their intel from a female sentient, and another of the 5 guys is from Thailand.)
* Conway Stern in the WesternAnimation/Archer episode "Diversity Hire" is black and Jewish. As the episode name suggests, he was hired specifically so that ISIS could maintain its minority quotas, with Malory even introducing him as a "diversity double-whammy".
** In "Three to Tango",
* Melissa of WesternAnimation/HomeMovies makes it up with being a girl and black?
* Mack from WesternAnimation/BroTown: it isn't easy being a Scottish-Jewish-Samoan (and ambiguously gay) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=az-oYj9uGS0
* Numbuh 5 from WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor is a black French-American girl.
* Tish Katsufrakis the eastern European, Jewish vegetarian girl on WesternAnimation/TheWeekenders.
* WesternAnimation/SkysurferStrikeForce gives us Kim Sakai a.k.a. Sliced Ice, she's Asian and the only woman on the heroes' side.
* Madison Spaghettini Papadopoulos from WesternAnimation/ClassOf3000 is at least part Italian and part Greek going by her name alone.
* Kyle from WesternAnimation/SouthPark. Jewish, ginger, and from New Jersey.
* TheLegendOfKorra has a lot of diversity in terms of gender and ethnicity among its cast, but Korra herself is still notable for being a mixed-race female lead character. In fact, she's a threefer or fourfer, since she is for some time and .

* Condoleezza Rice--black, female, rumoured to be gay. Even if the third one isn't true, though, throw in her being a neoconservative politician and you have a very rare gem indeed.
* Stand-up comedian Creator/MargaretCho is a Korean-American female FagHag/bisexual, making her a threefer (by her own standards, at least).
* CNN reporter Soledad O'Brien: female, black, Hispanic.
* Comedian Stephen K. Amos, black and gay.
* Hirax frontman Katon W. De Pena, black guy of Hispanic descent (hence the name), and singer for a thrash metal band. Black singers in metal are pretty rare but almost non-existent in thrash.
* LennyKravitz was born to wealthy parents - a Jewish father who was an NBC producer, and a black Bahamian mother who was an well known actress. Kravitz also used to sing in choirs. Despite this, he is known for his funk-rock and soul music. Kravitz is not as critically respected as he would be without his background.
* Much of the discussion around who UsefulNotes/BarackObama might nominate to the Supreme Court has centered on such twofers as Sonia Sotomayor (female and Hispanic) and Kathleen Sullivan (female and gay). Sotomayor ultimately got the nod.
* In the 1930s, Justice Benjamin Cardozo was both Hispanic and Jewish. His ethnic ancestry was downplayed in recent years to allow Sotomayor to take full credit as the first Latino Supreme Court Justice. As a Hispanic, Cardozo was from Spain, not Latin America.
* Current Australian Federal Minister for Climate Change and Water, Penelope "Penny" Ying-yen Wong, Asian lesbian.
* Sammy Davis, Jr. was Black, Hispanic and Jewish. In his own words, "When I move into a neighborhood, I wipe it out!" Underlined by his golf one-liner, "Talk about a handicap, I'm a one-eyed Negro Jew!"
** and possibly bisexual.
** Or, as one story goes, Music/FrankSinatra described him: "You're short, you're one-eyed, and I heard somewhere you're Jewish. Don't be afraid!"
* Christopher Titus has a joke about his in his material, talking to his kid while watching CNN; "You see that lady there? She's part black, part Japanese, and part Native American. Networks don't like to hire too many minorities so they pack as many as they can into one person." (paraphrased)
* U.S. Representative Barney Frank is Jewish and gay.
** And left-handed.
* Canada's two most recent Governor Generals, Adrienne Clarkson (born in Hong Kong) and Michelle Jean (born in Haiti) were non-white and female, as well as both being born outside of Canada.
* Creator/RosarioDawson is 1/4 Afro-Cuban, 1/4 Afro-Puerto Rican, 1/4 Native American (Apache-Seminole), and 1/4 Irish.
* Comedian Freddie Prinze (best known to this generation as Buffy's father-in-law); half Puerto Rican, half Hungarian Jew. He once had a bit where he asked his parents how they met, they said they were on a bus, trying to pick each other's pockets.
* Creator/RichardPryor; half African-American, half Afro-Puerto Rican.
* In NickCave & the Bad Seeds we have Kid Congo Powers, who is Mexican and gay, in a band of (allegedly, there was that one time Nick and Blixa kissed, and Nick's manlove comments in his autobiography)) straight white guys.
* Writer Audre Lorde, who was black, lesbian, and legally blind.
* Enka singer Jero is African-American, one-quarter Japanese, and an emigrant to Japan.
* British actress Creator/SophieOkonedo, who is half Nigerian, half Ashkenazi Jew. After she and her Irish partner gave birth to a daughter, she quipped "She's going to be an Irish, Nigerian Jew."
* TigerWoods certainly fits in this trope; He's 1/4 African-American, 1/4 Thai, 1/4 Chinese, 1/8 Native-American and 1/8 Dutch. He even has created a word for his ethnic make-up (Cablinasian).
* BruceLee, and also his children, Brandon and Shannon Lee count as this. Bruce Lee was 3/4 Chinese and 1/4 German. His children thus were mixed Chinese, German, Anglo-Saxon and Swedish.
* In the band The Black Eyed Peas, apl.de.ap is a Black Filipino, Fergie is white, native American, Mexican, and female, and Taboo is Mexican and Shoshone.
* Music/ThinLizzy singer/bassist Phil Lynott: half Irish, half black Guyanese. Born in Manchester, England due to his mother moving there, but grew up with his grandparents in Ireland. Lynott also idolised Jimi Hendrix, yet was a bass player. People nevertheless see him as a quintessentially Irish musician. The band had also included Scott Gorham, an American, Brian Robertson, Scottish, and Snowy White/John Skyes, both English. Brian Downey was the only person to be entirely Irish. Even Gary Moore was Northern Irish, whereas the other two were from Dublin.
* Zheng He, 15th-century Chinese explorer (mentioned above in Comic Books) has got to count: Muslim and a eunuch.
* Freddie Mercury was bisexual and Indian (specifically, he was born to Parsi a Zoroastrian ethnic group of Persian descent parents from the Gujarat region).
* The former French Minister of Parliamentary Relations and current Ambassador to the OECD, Roger Karroutchi, is a threefer: he's gay, Moroccan, and Jewish.
* Zaha Hadid, the world's most prominent female architect, is an Iraqi Muslim.
* Mia Love, current mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah is a female Mormon Republican of Haitian descent.
* British comedian Paul Sindha: Indian and gay (not a threefer as he so far is only known in Britain)
* Jani Toivola - a Finnish actor, dancer, and politician - is black and homosexual.
** Extra impressive, as Finland is stereotyped by it's neighbors as being a) extremely ethnically homogeneous and b) very homophobic.
* GeorgeTakei is a gay Japanese American.
* Bayard Rustin was a close friend of MartinLutherKingJr who influenced him to take a non-violent stance. He was black, openly gay (in 1950s America) and was a Quaker.
