* Lots of comics have this to some degree, but the best example would have to be ''ComicBook/SpiderMan''. All of Peter Parker's girlfriends (except Deb Whitman) have dated other members of his supporting cast at various points. Sometimes multiple members of said supporting cast. ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManTheAnimatedSeries'' rectified this oversight by adding some WillTheyOrWontThey between Deb and Flash Thompson.

* ''WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil'': The show starts out with Marco with a longtime crush on Jackie, while Star has a RelationshipRevolvingDoor with her ex-boyfriend Tom and a crush on Oskar for the first two seasons, but is mostly just blissfully single. Star starts getting feelings for Marco in Season 2, making her jealous of Jackie, but Marco doesn't appear to reciprocate. But after Star confesses her crush during "Starcrushed" and goes back to Mewni, Marco's first date with Jackie ends up bombing because Jackie realizes he cares about Star more. Star gets back with a reformed Tom just as Marco realizes he does have feelings for Star, while also bonding with Kelly. Star and Marco end up kissing while stuck in a magical photo booth while Star is still with Tom and Marco is dating Kelly, but don't make anything official. After realizing their dance under the Blood Moon might be the cause of their feelings, Star and Marco undo this and get back with Tom and Kelly respectively, only for them to realize the feelings were real and get together near the finale. And this is just the confirmed canon ships -- there was also plenty of ShipTease for other relationships, like Tom/Marco, Marco/Heckapoo, Janna/Tom, Janna/Star, and so on.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Archer}}'': There are, mathematically, twenty-one ways the seven main characters (Sterling, Lana, Malory, Cyril, Cheryl/Carol, Pam, and Krieger) could pair off; of these, a third have actually happened. Lana, Cyril, Pam, and Carol/Cheryl have ''each'' had ''half'' of the other six.
** Pam takes a while to get into the game though, during the first season or so her bemoaning the fact that nobody would sleep with her despite this trope was something of a RunningGag.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'' has a mild example: Bolin tries to date Korra, but she rejects him because she's interested in Mako. Mako and Asami date, but break up in time for the Book One finale, establishing initial OfficialCouple Mako and Korra. Only for ''them'' to break up in the next book; afterwards, Mako and Asami have a brief fling that is quickly ruined when a semi-amnesiac Korra returns and kisses Mako, believing them to still be together. Mako doesn't mention that they broke up, destroying his chances with Asami, and to top it off, in the finale he and Korra break up for good. The entire mess serves as a great way for Korra and Asami to bond during Book Three, [[spoiler:and the GrandFinale of Book Four has ''them'' get together instead.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan'': Basically all teens dated more than one person with the sole exception of [[NiceGuy Randy]] [[BetaCouple and]] [[AlphaBitch Sally]] and Hobie Brown, who remained single.

The '''Dating Do Si Do''' is the tendency for a long running piece of fiction to recycle characters. In shows dealing with relationships especially, the tendency is that the longer the story goes on, the greater the likelihood that ''everyone'' will at some point have been in a relationship with (or at least slept with) everyone else. Well, usually not ''quite'' everyone, but still, the number of people having been in a relationship with other people is probably greater than could be expected under normal circumstances.

* Played with in ''Series/{{Friends}}''. Almost all of the straight, non-incest pairings had a ShipTease, though most were PlayedForLaughs, and almost all the characters have kissed each other. But only three pairs (Ross/Rachel, Monica/Chandler and Joey/Rachel) were treated seriously and actually happened. Given the show ran for ten years, the writers did pretty well at ''not'' having the characters constantly date each other.

* Addressed in ''Series/LastManStanding''. Kristin and Kyle dated during the first season, [[AmicableExes breaking up amicably]] at the end. * ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'' has a mild example: Mako and Asami date, but break up in time for the Book One finale, establishing initial OfficialCouple Mako and Korra.
