The OT! book is a collaborative fiction project started by DM FOR MUTUAL
note on the "Off-Topic" section of the osu! forums.
The book involves a school dedicated to teaching magic (with the Unfortunate Name of Tomfoolery High School), in the country of Yoony (after the creator of the book) in the 11th of 12 worlds. with citizens of several species attending it.
However, the main catch is that the world is starting to crumble away due to its World Crystal, a crystal that keeps its corresponding world stable, being taken by the demon vampire Dabi in an effort to resurrect the Demon Lord.

The OT! Book provides examples of:
- Adaptational Badass: Fara. She's been described as a klutz in Chapter 15, but in the very next one, she smugly approaches a nervous Sarah and is implied to have killed her.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: The title for Chapter 38 is literally "Two gay furries talking to each other lol".
- Fanservice Extra: Subverted. Alissa was originally meant to be solely for fanservice, but has been used to drive the plot forward in some of the chapters she's in.
- Human Disguise: In Chapter 15, Fara changes most of her appearance along with hiding her wings in order to look human.
- Humanity Is Infectious: According to the Character Compendium, Fuki learned emotions by mimicking those around her.
- Inconsistent Episode Lengths: All the chapters tend to vary in length with the longest being 8 pages long and the shortest being a little over half a page.
- Kudzu Plot: The book is one, involving several plots in the same areas.
- Mythology Gag:
- The number 727 is referenced several times due to pretty much being a meme in the osu! community (sort of like 420 and 69).
- The title of Chapter 22 (hey, the) is a reference to this thread, where users were forced to only say "hey, the"
- The message on the paper read out at the end of the chapter is a near exact copy of the first post in this thread.

- Shizuku mentions someone named Pep who created the universe in Chapter 27, most likely a reference to peppy, the creator of osu!.
- Stylistic Suck: The drawing of Dabi by Gregg Williams (which DM FOR MUTUAL even used as their profile picture after the chapter it was from came out.)
