    Tiana
Set after the events of The Princess and the Frog, the birthday of Tiana's late father James is coming up soon and Tiana has trouble brainstorming how to celebrate his birthday in a way that he would honor what he stood for.
  • An Aesop: Helping your community and giving to those in need are a good ways to be generous.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: As Tiana falls asleep while stargazing at Evangeline and Ray, she dreams of Ray appearing to her, telling her that the two of them heard her wish for figuring out how to celebrate her father's birthday and tells her that the answer is in her heart. When wakes up the next morning, she thinks it was All Just a Dream… except magic does exist in this story.
  • Politically Correct History: Averted. Mr. Larkin, who served with Tiana's father in World War I, recalls that black people were treated unfairly in the army, and Tiana mentally monologues about how segregation is currently in place, hoping that someday it will be abolished and that people of different races can live together equally.

    Moana
  • An Aesop:
    • If you help others, they'll help you.
    • If people take care of the environment, the environment will help provide for them their necessities and beauties.
  • Call-Back: Fonu is the baby sea turtle that Moana helped at the beginning of the movie. Turns out they became good friends ever since.

    Rapunzel
Taking place after the events of Tangled, Rapunzel wants to see the stars and wishes to build an observatory in Corona. However, she first needs to find a famed lens crafters for the telescope, but the craftsman has become blind and is upset that that he wouldn't be able to enjoy his project because of it.
  • An Aesop: Consider the joy you can bring to others even if you won't be able to partake in it.
  • Continuity Nod: Rapunzel's brunette hair has grown a little past shoulder-length and has a purple streak. Since we've never seen this before in Tangled media, this places the event of the story after the end of the film and after the end of Tangled: The Series (fortunately, if you've never seen the show, it can be easily ignored for this story), though before Tangled Ever After because she and Eugene aren't married yet.
  • Stellar Name: There's an observatory in Stellonia.
