Heartwarming / Transformers: Last Bot Standing

• The fact that Shib's bloodline, down to Shib herself, kept true to their promise to Rodimus after countless generations, despite having no way of knowing whether they would ever have any need of him.
• One of the variant covers for Issue 3 shows Rodimus reminiscing about previous people he held dear to him. We have the more obvious choices like Kupp, Ultra Magnus, Optimus, Wheelie and Blaster... But there are also explicitly characters he didn't know from the classic cartoon setting, but would know of from the original IDW setting. Ratchet himself seems obvious, serving as Rodimus's medical officer on the Lost Light. But at the back of the group are Shockwave, who was one of the only senators with any good will in his heart before being turned into a monstrosity by the rest of the Senate... and Megatron, who served as his co-captain on the Lost Light. It makes one imagine that despite all the rage and torture that turned everyone into who they are, everyone was able to find some kind of peace in their passings and are hoping Rodimus can say the same at some point.
• At the end of issue 4, Rodimus spends some time not only rebuilding Fembrance but also giving Donnokt the secrets of Energon and in effect, a better future than the Cybertronians could ever have. Though he has no reason to do so, as his job was done, he still sees it as the least he could do before finally passing on.
