- Mr. O'Brian's reconciliation with Jack, admiting his faults and that he considers his sons the most important thing to him. Doubles as a Tear Jerker.
- After Jack wounds his brother when he dared him to put his finger over the end of a loaded BB gun, he apologizes by giving him a plank so that his brother can hit him if he wants to. Heartwarmingly, he doesn't.
