• Dove. Despite his obvious attraction for Jaune (and Jaune's own obliviousness to it), Dove doesn't let it get in the way of their friendship, even when Jaune enters into a relationship. When that relationship begins to encounter trouble, Dove does not take the opportunity to make a move, instead giving heartfelt advice — telling Jaune to make sure he and his girlfriend talk out their priorities, to see if a compromise can be made to salvage their relationship.

• For all his justified antipathy for Meg Scarlatina, given the trouble she caused him, when Velvet confides in Jaune that their last conversation was a fight, he reassures her that Meg truly loved her, and that, for all that she made bad decisions, the only reason Meg committed criminal acts was so that she could keep the daughter she so loved.
