Heartwarming / The Purge: Election Year

Go To

  • The improvised hospital completely set up by volunteers, among them nurses, doctors and many other people who spend the whole night treating and protecting injured and helpless people. They do not get anything out of it except the feeling that they did the right thing.
  • The very fact that the most purgers agree upon not to attack ambulances and helpers. It may be because they think that they possibly will need their help as well but it shows that these people do at least have some standards.
  • Laney and her friend go out every Purge night to save the people they can, knowing they must pass by those they don't have enough fire power to help, just so they can get a few people to safety. This is clearly exhausting and dangerous work, but these two ladies are doing what they can.
  • Although it might not be the smartest move, Charlie refuses to hide in a safe house, knowing it will cause people to lose trust in her and therefore, their votes. She shows that she is perfectly willing to put her life on the line if it means a greater chance at being able to stop the Purge. The fact that she goes out into the crowd to meet with her constituents after a debate shows that she is willing to trust them, too.
