Heartwarming / The Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero's Journey

• When Zero first enters Christmas Town, Jouelle takes him in, cheers him up, and reads him a story about Christmas Town's history. She would love it if Zero stayed, but when he expresses his desire to leave and get back to Jack, she sends him off in the right direction.
• All of Halloween Town bands together to try to find Zero after he goes missing. Even Lock, Shock, and Barrel pitch in by searching Oogie's casino.
• Mr. Myzer hates Christmas because his puppy, One, was run over by a sled. Zero finds the room Myzer locked away, and through a Ghost Memory, sees what happened. He decides to help Myzer heal by merging with the memory and reminding Myzer that while One is gone, his memory isn't.
• The gingerbread man apologizes and runs ahead to open a door for Zero so he can continue his search for Santa. Considering how hostile the gingerbread man was to him before, this little gesture speaks volumes.
• When Lock, Shock, and Barrel finally find Zero, their response is a group hug, and to play with him (albeit while simultaneously out-running the consequences of their latest trouble). Aww, these little monsters actually do love him!
  • Zero repays it by trying to free them from the Factory Boss's Mind Control.
• Santa playing fetch with Zero. While the game is Zero's ploy to get him to come down to the factory to help Lock, Shock, and Barrel, both of them are clearly having fun. Santa even claps and cheers when Zero catches the ball.
• Santa forgives Lock, Shock, and Barrel for everything they've done once he realizes they don't actually know the difference between good and bad, he offers to help them, and invites them to the Christmas Eve banquet.
  • The trio are clearly nervous and out of their element when they first arrive. Santa and the elves make sure to include them and Zero in the festivities.
• Zero forgiving Clementine and teaming up with her to save Christmas.
• Jack reuniting with Zero.
• Zero joining Santa's team alongside Clementine.
