Heartwarming / Superman: Secret Identity

• In the first issue, Clark, after saving his classmates from a bomb scare, despite being close to being exposed by Cassie after lifting a beam pinning her, downplaying his heroics in front of her and the cameras, Cassie had a few choice words for her saviour the next day.

• Just after Lois unbuttons Clark's shirt and scolds him for taking Superman jokes too far: "Lois... look down."
• Malloy's retirement. He and Clark have settled into a civil professional relationship, and he sincerely apologises when Clark shows him the latest set of cameras and attempts to work out his secret identity (apparently the young guns in the government are still curious). He then reveals that he worked out Clark's secret identity years ago, and he's been keeping it secret ever since. Clark inwardly decides that he'll get him a bottle of whiskey as a send-off gift after all.
