Heartwarming / Skull Island (2023)

• Kong’s relationship with Spanish Iwi girl. It’s clear the two were close and it makes her death at the hands of the Kraken that much more heartbreaking.
• Despite the two having a strained relationship all it takes is for Kong to hear her shout and the ape titans bust into the village to come to her aid. sadly he’s too late by the time he gets there.
  • Kong has still kept her pendant even years later.
• While dying from her injuries the girl makes sure to lightly and affectionately rub Kong’s noise and praise him as “my king”. Despite calling him a stupid monkey and not a king earlier in the episode in the end the fact that he at least tried to save her and her village is enough for her to reassure him that he is a king and a protector .
• Kong saving Anne and Dog from drowning even after they stole his pendant. It really goes to prove just how much of a good heart Kong has.
