  • At the end of Episode 3, Yoshino finally wholeheartedly agrees to be the Queen on one condition- that she make her four new friends her ministers.
  • In Episode 7, while Maki is keeping her distance from her father, she learns that her father exclusively filmed her during her school's production of Snow White (despite her being a tree). Mr. Midorikawa later shows up to watch his daughter fill in for Moe, clearly proud of her.
  • In Episode 7, Shiori, despite having lied in order to protect the house of the old woman she once knew, eventually comes to the conclusion that the woman would be happier to have it memorialized on film than simply left as an abandoned run-down house, and agrees to let it be used in the film. Yoshino then asks the film crew to memorialize the woman in the end credits.
  • In Episode 11, Yoshino reassures Ririko that she's better than she gives herself credit for, and willingly listens to the alternative interpretation to the folktale about the dragon(Ririko had tried to share that with the tour, but had been bluntly told that no one was interested).
  • The alternative interpretation of the story itself counts. It turns out that the villagers had tried to welcome the dragon, but inadvertently frightened it away and caused its death, leading them to try to atone for their mistake. Yoshino then uses the message to make the point that Manoyama was always meant to welcome outsiders, such as the participants on the tour. Even Chitose can't help but smile at the performance.
  • In Episode 14, Yoshino returns to her hometown, reuniting with her family and old friends, and ends up looking at it more fondly than before. When she returns to Manoyama, she doesn't do so to run away, but to do the job she was asked to do.
  • When the foreign cryptid enthusiasts come to Manoyama, Ririko ends up bonding with them and becomes friends with Lucia.
  • After the professor's death near the end of Episode 18, the residents find stacks and stacks of notebooks that contain his daily observations, showing how serious he was about archiving the community's traditions.
  • At the end of Episode 18, Sanae thinks about her conversations with the professor, and realizes that while she didn't have a connection with Manoyama at the start, just like the professor didn't initially have one with Warabiya, she hopes to build one by doing what she can for the community.
  • At the end of Episode 20, the main characters find out that someone paid for the repairs on the drum. Maki seems to realize it was her father, and the scene then cuts to him looking at pictures of his daughter performing in the play, seemingly confirming her suspicions.
  • At the end of Episode 22, Angelica is finally reunited with both of her children after a difficult few days and an especially harrowing night. Anji, having gone missing while searching for the Golden Dragon to wish for Erika's return, offers to establish a clothing store to ensure that she likes staying in Manoyama. Erika, who's implied to regret running away, gives Anji a hug, and their mother hugs both of them.
  • In Episode 22, the protagonists come up with the idea to put lights in the shopping district and obtain the permission of the owners, showing that they're getting along with the local merchants much better than at the start. As Nobe, Kindaichi and Takamizawa see the lights, they remark that sometimes, you have to make your own wishes come true.
  • In Episode 23, the board of merchants seems willing to browbeat Akiyama into renting out his shop, but Yoshino steps in and talks them down. After everyone hears Akiyama's Freudian Excuse- that the last outsider he rented his shop to skipped town- Shiozaki agrees to rent his shop out instead. Afterward, Yoshino apologizes to Akiyama, who's willing to forgive her and asks her a question.
Akiyama: From what I understand, you don't have any personal ties to Manoyama. Why do you work so hard for us?
Yoshino: Well, I guess... (smiles) I'm an outsider. And Manoyama has been good enough to take me in.
Akiyama: I see. Thank you, Queen.
  • In Episode 23, Kadota finally apologizes to Chitose for putting pressure on Akiyama while not knowing about his past, as well as for the incident 50 years ago, and she accepts his apology. Chitose then notices the "Mizuchi Festival(Proposed)" on the calendar (the parenthetical note added to avoid angering the board of merchants), and erases the "Proposed," saying that the board of merchants will support the event. This earns a thank you from Yoshino and a Grudging "Thank You" from Kadota.
  • In Episode 24, Maki asks Yoshino to test out the miniature cave. Yoshino complies, and when she emerges, sees the others throw a surprise birthday party for her, wearing the hapi that she liked so much.
  • For much of the latter half of the series, Sayuri and Kumano can be seen together, implying that they hooked up after their storyline concluded.
  • For much of the latter half of the series, Sayuri and Kumano can be seen together, implying that they hooked up offscreen.
  • In Episode 25, each of the protagonists' future plans.
    • Yoshino comes to view Manoyama, which she once thought of as boring and ordinary, as a second hometown. She feels at home there, even if she doesn't feel as though she can settle down just yet.
    • Sanae opens up an office in Akiyama's store. Like Yoshino, she's come to see Manoyama as home, while Akiyama is apparently prepared to give trusting outsiders a second chance.
    • Ririko's grandmother gave her permission to travel for a little bit, something Ririko had asked her before her performance on stage. It goes to show how willing Ririko is to step out of her comfort zone, and how open-minded Chitose has become.
    • Maki continues working with the theater troupe, showing that she's able to make a career out of acting.
    • Shiori simply hopes to allow Yoshino to return to Manoyama one day.
  • The Train-Station Goodbye everyone gives Yoshino at the end of her tenure as Queen. In addition to those who show up at the station, there are also multiple carloads of people who pull up to the train as it departs, and a few who stand by to see her off.
