Season One

  • "Satvrday"
    • The reveal that Cheese had continued to spend time with the lonely grandmother from the clinic long after she had been discharged to her home. Doubly so when she tells him that he's her grandson even if he's not (meaning not by blood).
    • Willie Jack gives a speech explaining that she's not going to California because she loves her parents.
    • White Steve freestyles for everyone hiding in the basement and gets a high-five from Bear, even though they're from rival gangs.

Season Two

  • The truck driver reveals he knows Bear stole his truck but allows him to work it off by helping him unload the truck rather than turning him in.
  • "Mabel"
    • Jackie claims that she showed up to Mabel's home before she passes because her mother made her come, but Cheese knows she came because she now considers Elora as a friend.
    • Elora sees Mabel's spirit after she dies. Here she's not the distant, taciturn woman that she became after Cookie's death, but a warm, laughing woman. Elora's last sight of her grandmother was as the woman her family knew and loved.
  • "Stay Gold Cheesy Boy"
    • Jackie is the one who goes to inform the Rez Dogs that Cheese got arrested. When Willie Jack tells her to take a swing at her for insulting her dead brother, Jackie merely raises her fist to make Willie Jack flinch, and she declares they’re cool now.
    • Julio learns that Tino's a father looking to provide for his children and that his requests for Julio to get him a job at Red Lobster are in earnest. Julio promises to put Tino's name in for the open position and the two Flip the Bird at each other as a sign of newfound friendship.
    • Cheese borrows Julio's cellphone to call his "grandmother", who is revealed to be the elderly woman from the clinic. He makes up a story about how he and his uncle are busy with work as the reason why he hasn't been around. At the end of the episode, Cheese is removed from the group home and is placed into her care, implying that she found out what actually happened and went through the court system to be his foster family.
  • "Offerings" begins with Hokti, Daniel's incarcerated mother, cut off from everyone in her former life. Willie Jack visits. In helping Willie Jack heal, Hokti heals herself. The episode ends with Hokti putting Willie Jack on her approved visitors' list.
  • “I Still Believe”
    • The NDN Mafia, previously the Rez Dog’s enemies, all see them off along with Mose and Mekko when they head to California.
    • The gang stepping foot into the ocean for the first time and huddling together, where they imagine that Daniel is with them and that they made it with him together.
    • We finally hear some of what Daniel's letter said. He had been dreaming about taking his friends to California since his freshman year (2 years before he died) and also had a crush on Elora the entire time.

Season Three

  • "Maximus": As Maximus is led away by cops and social workers, the last thing Bear says to him is "I believe you."
  • "Deer Lady": As a young Kiowa girl in a residential school, the future Deer Lady is reassured by a classmate, telling her that the administrators can't stop them from smiling.
    • Deer Lady's kindness to Bear provides a lovely contrast with the horrors she faces in her flashbacks. She's nothing but gentle towards him, sharing some of her pie and letting him charge his phone in her truck before taking him home.
  • "Friday": Fixico worries that he has no one to pass his medicinal knowledge down to as he gets older. Willie Jack expresses interest.
    • After finally getting his glasses and being able to see clearly, what's the first thing Cheese notices?
Cheese: (to Natalie) Wow, you're beautiful.
  • "Frankfurter Sandwich": Using what he learned in the halfway house, Cheese runs an impromptu therapy session for Big, Bucky, and Brownie. Big lets go of his guilt over Cookie's death. Bucky and Brownie process their guilt for driving Maximus away.
  • "Wahoo!": Rita's reunion with the spirit Cookie. She even helps Cookie communicate with Elora. Rita, Bev, and Natalie later hold a ceremony to help her move on.
  • "Send It":
    • The Rez Dogs and the NDN Mafia working together to bust Maximus out of the mental hospital and reunite him with Fixico after the latter's heart attack.
      • Bear tries leading the caper by saying "We got this, we're the fucking Rez Dogs", leading Jackie and her friends to remind him they aren't. Bear simply invites them to join the group, which they happily accept, ending the feud that's been going on since the show began.
      All: FUCKIN' REZ DOGS!
    • Kenny Boy taking the blame for the bus explosion to protect the kids.
    • Contrary to what the kids were expecting, Maximus is perfectly comfortable at the hospital, explaining to them that he checks in regularly when he forgets about his medication. He's free to leave at any time, and he has a friendly exchange with the nurse as he does so. When Bear explains the extent of their plans, he even plays along like it's a dramatic prison break so they aren't let down.
    • Maximus reuniting with Fixico, sitting by his hospital bed as he sleeps.
  • Willie Jack meeting with Hokti in prison after Fixico's death. Hokti illustrates how Fixico isn't really gone, he lives on through his community and the lives he touched using snacks from the vending machine.
  • Fixico's funeral is a Tear Jerker, of course, but it also has its sweet moments.
    • Elora saying goodbye to Bear in the church during Fixico's funeral.
    • Bear and William Knifeman reuniting and reconciling.
    • Willie Jack's eulogy for Fixico.
    • Maximus reuniting and hanging out with his old friends after decades of estrangement.
