Heartwarming / Reign of the Supermen

• Despite not getting off on the right foot in their first encounter with Superboy hitting on her, Lois is noticeably very compassionate toward him. She tends to him when he gets knocked out by Parademons, and when he finds out that Lex Luthor makes up half his DNA, she assures him that he looks just like Superman.
• Superboy is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold and, despite his cockiness and showboating, truly cares about doing the right thing and helping people. By the end of the film, he has found a true home and family with Ma and Pa Kent.
  • Likewise, Clark is immediately protective of him, taking his quip of "dad" with a mere raised eyebrow, before telling Lex quite bluntly where to get off when he demands Superboy's presence.
  "The boy stays with me."
• Just before the final fight with Cyborg Superman at the Watchtower, Lois still has trouble believing that Clark's returned to life and tests him only something she and the real Superman knows.
  Lois: The napkin. At Bibbo's. What was your last secret?
  Clark: ... "I love you."
  Lois: Clark...! I love yo-
• The ending scene with Superman back in full, wearing the Superman Reborn suit as he flies off to join his friends at the Watchtower. The moment where he salutes a little boy on a passing plane is especially touching, bolstered by the awesome music playing.
