Heartwarming / Promising Young Woman

• Cassie's visit to the lawyer who helped exonerate her deceased friend's rapist surprisingly involves this. She's fully prepared to threaten him like the others, assumes he has forgotten about Nina and has a hired thug ready to harm him waiting outside... but he remembers Nina's name, tearfully apologises and explains that he's had a psychotic break over the guilt of performing his job. At this point, he asks for forgiveness and Cassie is visibly shocked and moved, and immediately gives it. She even tells the thug to go away, and essentially just pays him for standing watch.
