Per wiki policy, Spoilers Off applies here and all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

Issue #1

  • The issue starts off with a flashback of Sunny and her father at the lighthouse, looking for Canterlot through a telescope. It's an adorable reminder of Sunny's undying faith in her father and her beliefs that shaped her into the pony she is today.

Issue #2

  • When Sunny recognises Discord, she recounts his heroic actions such as helping save Equestria from Changelings, as well as his friendship with Fluttershy. It's nice to know that his redemption stuck to such an extent that he has been remembered positively in history, especially after his previous evil ways.
  • Even though many years have passed, Discord still loves and misses Fluttershy. Also, even though his methods are misguided, the fact that Discord wants to make sure ponies live in harmony is actually quite noble considering how determined he once was to cause disharmony.
  • Discord has an animal companion in the form of an opossum he named "Reginald Fursome". While he expresses annoyance over Reginald eating berries on his carpets, he genuinely appreciates him for his talents, something he acknowledges as having learned from Fluttershy.

Issue #4

  • Pipp wanting to share her story about the day everyone learned she couldn't fly becomes this once she explains to Queen Haven why she wants to do it. Even though that day was so hard on her, she wants to show that side of herself to her fans so that they know it's okay to feel those feelings sometimes. Haven is hesitatant at first but quickly gives her full support.
  • Even though it doesn't go as she had hoped, Pipp saving her post and talking to her friends first shows just how much she values their opinion on her web content.
    • Zipp in particular is immediately worried about Pipp's well-being, pointing out not everyone might respond positively and Pipp might take it hard.
  • A week after making the post, Pipp receives an email from a unicorn filly named Felicity who moved with her family to Maretime Bay. She had lied about her life in Bridlewood to make friends with new ponies, only for the other ponies to eventually catch on and give her the cold shoulder. Dejected, Felicity comes across Pipp's post, which gives her the motivation to start over honestly with her friends. Pipp is shedding Tears of Joy reading the last sentences:
Felicity: What I did was wrong, but I knew that if you could admit the truth and work past the fear and sadness... so could I. Thank you, from the Pippsqueak who thinks you're the coolest pony ever. You helped me get my friends back.
  • At the end of the comics, Pipp makes a video log showing her followers her more authentic side, bedhead and all, and uses her experience writing the post to remind her followers that it's okay to feel lonely, sad, or afraid, she gives Felicity a shout-out toward the end:
Pipp: Last night, I was afraid that you wouldn't accept me the way I am. I thought, maybe I should do a better job of hiding it. Shout-out to Felicity for reminding me that who I am — every part of me — is enough.

Issue #6

  • Fluttershy is shown in a flashback refusing to give up on talking to Water Lily, despite their confrontation the other day. And when Discord starts going over the edge, she begins recording a message for him to help him work through his anger.

Issue #7

  • The rest of the Mane Five repay Hitch for helping them out by putting together his deejaying booth for the Harvest Festival celebration.

Issue #8

  • Sunny and Izzy working together to create a new kind of smoothie for Sunny's smoothie cart.

Issue #10

  • With the main five stuck in Discord's cage hanging over a ravine, Sunny begins to lose hope they'll be able to escape in time to stop him from destroying the Pegasus crystal. Izzy, who had been struggling with adapting to all the changes the reintroduction of magic has made to her life, is able to restore Sunny's confidence:
Sunny: All I wanted to do was bring magic back to Equestria. I thought it would make things right. But all it's done is make us fight and argue about everything. That's why we're trapped here.
Izzy: Having magic around changed everything in Equestria. Everypony's been so busy figuring it out for ourselves that we haven't really considered what it means for all ponykind. That's why it can sometimes feel like our magic is dividing us. And it's not that it makes me angry or want to fight with anypony. It's that it scares me... but I know it doesn't have to be that way. Because if we all come together, nopony will feel left behind. You're the one who can bring us together, Sunny.
Sunny: Discord was right. Even with everything that's happened, you always see the best in others.
  • The ponies confront Discord, and despite him quickly getting the upper hand, Izzy manages to stop him by showing him Fluttershy's message recorded on Pipp's phone. Discord tries to look away, but as Fluttershy's message plays on, he takes the phone and listens to her words. The page with Fluttershy's speech has a ghostly image of her hugging him from behind as he watches her on the phone and openly weeps:
Fluttershy: I'm creating this message for you in the hopes that every time you feel overwhelmed, you can listen back and remind yourself why anger is not the answer. Our magic does make us different... and that's something we should embrace... both in ourselves and in others. Our powers let us be the best versions of ourselves. I mean, who would Rainbow Dash be if she couldn't fly? And yes, our powers might threaten some ponies, but if we're able to use what makes us special in unity, I know we can create the Equestria we always dreamed of. Lead with your heart, Discord. It will always show you the way.
  • Once magic is restored, Sunny hangs a photo of the ponies and Discord in Canterlot on the wall, right above a photo of her dad. Recalling his words from Issue #1's flashback, she happily tells him: "I did it, dad. I made it to Canterlot."
  • Sunny finally reconciling with Izzy immediately after, finally ending the unease Izzy has felt since Issue #1:
Sunny: I owe you an apology. You were right. When magic came back, I was so excited about my powers that I let it get in the way of our friendship. That wasn't fair to you. I know it will take time, but I hope one day I can earn back your trust.
Izzy: You can't. [She hugs her, smiling.] Because you never lost it.
  • In the final two pages, Discord joins the ponies for a game of Power-Pass. Having spent the past ten issues as a brooding antagonist, he now has his hair and goatee tied up, he's using his magic again, and he's having fun.

Issue #12

  • Pansy Silverbell and Dahlia reconciling after so long.

Issue #13

  • Sunny's first idea for the contest is to make the special cookies her late father Argyle used to bake for her.
  • In the end, the Mane Five pool their ideas together to make "Friendship Cookies". Even though their creation doesn't win, they're still glad to have made something that represents the best of them.

Issue #14

  • Izzy has a very strong bond with Violette Rainbow, always praising and encouraging her student. When Pipp yells at Violette for accidentally causing a fire in Mane Melody, Izzy doesn't hesitate to defend the young filly.
  • Violette befriending a young zebra filly named Skye. The two are already making plans for a sleepover by the story's end.

Issue #15

  • Izzy is genuinely regretful when she learns her renovation of her old treehouse forced some critters out of their home, and has no problem figuring out how to share it with them.

Issue #20

  • After everything they've been through together, Pipp and Zipp develop a new level of respect and appreciation for each other.
