Heartwarming / Miraculous Ninja

• Gabriel being willing to allow Adrien to not only bring several friends from Paris for the exchange program, but even allows him to choose which ones. Says a lot given how much of a Control Freak he usually is.
• Among the people Adrien chooses, Chloe is a surprise to many, with it being implied that Adrien wants to give his oldest friend a chance to start anew.
  • And despite her attitude alienating most of the population of Norrisville, Chloe does manage to make friends with her 'locker neighbour', who goes by the alias 'Noire'.
• In general, how much nicer Howard is here, providing plenty of support to Randy, covering for him when he needs to do Ninja duties and there are minimal moments where he takes advantage of his friend. Makes him out to be every bit the awesome best friend Randy considers him.
• Hearing that his cousin is coming to live with his family, Randy takes the time to try and learn Japanese so they can speak in her native language. While he fumbles it a bit, Kagami appreciates the effort, and offers to help him improve.
• Chloe sincerely praises the Ninja for his heroics, showing that despite despising Ladybug, her admiration of heroes in general still remains.
• Despite still being bitter over their breakup, Kagami asks that Randy and Howard give Adrien a chance, saying that he's a good person and deserves to have more friends.
• In her own way, Kagami asking Randy to join in on her exercise routine and runs to school, wanting to prepare her cousin in her own way.
• How well Randy gets along with the Parisian heroes, happy to have the help, and bonding with Chat Noir over a shared love of puns.
• Despite not knowing her for long, Theresa offers to help Marinette ask out Adrien, giving a simple and reliable game plan.
• Randy requesting S. Ward Smith make a baton for Theresa, wanting to give her a handmade gift. While initially offput at having to make the rod himself, he later accepts the reasoning, and works at it with gusto, impressing both Smith and his apprentice, the latter of whom is working on the ends.
• Later on, he shows up during the fight with Jeerleader (an Akumatized Theresa), presenting her with the finished rod, which manages to calm her down. He goes on to give a proper Love Confession, which gets her to stop attacking the heroes, and the two undergo a Relationship Upgrade.
• In the aftermath of Jeerleader, Marinette apologizes to Theresa for what she said to her, while Theresa apologizes for what she did as Jeerleader. The two make amends and become friends from then on.
• Randy and Theresa's first date, despite some initial awkwardness, is very sweet, with both reminding the other of their good qualities and Randy getting outraged on her behalf when he hears how underfunded the Twirling Team is.
• At the end of Coach Greens maze, Debbie admits she was wrong about Adrien, and even writes an article saying he is as far from a Spoiled Brat or Rich Jerk as possible, clearly apologetic for assuming he was a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing.
• The way Randy managed to calm and cheer Marinette up by telling her its not the end of the world even though her secrets have now been revealed is both wholesome and heartwarming. Marinette realizing that even if Adrien wouldn't want to see or talk to her after this; she can always count on her friends to have her back.
