• On their first birthday following Pig's arrival, the 'Twos for the first time openly referring to themselves as "twins". Not only that, the fact that they both separately decided to make the other their favorite drink (tea for Mewtwo, hot chocolate for Newtwo, something which has usually been a source of petty bickering between them) as a gift to mark the occasion.
  • Similarly, Mewtwo calling Newtwo his sister for the first time. Even though in context he was royally ticked off at her at the time, and Newtwo teases him about it after things calm down, it speaks volumes of how the 'Twos' relationship has developed that Mewtwo can so casually use familial terminology with her now.
    Newtwo: "Dear sister", huh? I'm truly touched, dear broth-
    (Mewtwo tosses his wet scarf in her face)
• "Easy repaired, Da."
  • "...Yes. That's what I said."
• "Sorry to bother you, but I think she wants you more than she wants me, Mom..."
  • The voice dubbed version of this comic by 'OVAS' hits you even harder in the feels, with the very fitting use of 'Heart and Soul' from Sonic Frontiers as the background music.
• In spite of all his significant struggles and self-doubt, Mewtwo ultimately ends up settling quite well into the role of being a parent to Pig.
  (Pig, previously confined to the house by Mewtwo following the Honchkrow incident, is looking forlornly out the window at her ghost friends)
  Pig: They want to play like we used to, so they visit me in the yard sometimes.
  (beat panel as Mewtwo thinks for a moment)
  Mewtwo: I suppose the polite thing to do would be to go greet them. If they come all this way so often.
  Pig: ...You mean...?
  Mewtwo: (pointedly taps her on the head) It means you don't leave the front yard, understood?
  (Pig is surprised, then smiles; in the final panel she is playing happily with the ghost trio as Mewtwo stands a little ways off, stoically keeping watch)
