It is more of a heartwarming attitude, rather than a moment, but the fact that Williams treats each of the nations of Osten Ard with such a respect. In fact, you can find good people anywhere, regardless of their nationality, birth or gender - be it a noble or a commoner, man or woman, priest or rake. You can find good - if troubled - people even among the bad guys. The most important villains - i.e. King Elias, Guthwulf, Ineluki - are treated with sympathy, while there are few truly evil men besides Pryrates, and they are marginal compared to the sympathetic ones.
