  • There's this line from the first book.
Little Llama, don't you know, Mama Llama loves you so? Mama Llama's always near, even if she's not right here.
  • In "Lucky Pajamas" on the animated series, after Llama Llama and his friends are convinced that the luck from the lucky pajamas is no longer working, Mama Llama tells them that she and them have something better than luck - that they're fortunate to have good friends and family like each other.
  • When Llama Llama forgets Fuzzy Llama during a visit to his grandparents' house and is clearly distraught, his grandfather offers his grandson his own favorite toy from childhood. Llama Llama is clearly delighted to be allowed to sleep with something so precious to his grandfather.
  • In "Llama Llama Loves to Read," Llama and his friends get to read to younger children. It's very sweet watching Gilroy Goat warm to the idea after being initially nervous about it, as well as Llama's joy at reading to the child he's chosen to read to. Plus, the whole thing feels like a pay it forward with the release of the Anna Dewdney book Llama Llama Loves to Read, which depicts Llama and his friends learning to read in school.
