103rd School Year (2023-24; Chapters 1-18)
- Chapter 3:
- More of a gradual swell than a single moment, but as Kaho discovers the School Idol Notes and then has her conversation with Kozue in the storage room, you can feel her emotions settle down from the chaos they'd been in since the beginning of the story, as she finally confirms to herself that she really wants to be a school idol alongside Kozue.
- Chapter 5:
- Despite still having a hard time expressing herself in words, Tsuzuri manages to help Sayaka realize what she was missing and find the confidence to be and perform as herself rather than chasing after her sister or Tsuzuri.
- Chapter 6:
- And then Kaho taking her turn, this time helping Sayaka realize that her sister and Tsuzuri both do want her, but aren't saying so to avoid imposing on her... but sometimes, it's fine to be selfish and open about what you want.
- Chapter 10:
- Rurino never gives up on getting Megumi to perform again, even as Megumi argues with her and tries to pretend she's done with school idols, despite Rurino herself never having performed before. And it does finally get through to her.
- Chapter 13:
- Once again, Tsuzuri has to struggle with her own feelings that she doesn't understand, this time concerning Sachi. But this time, Sayaka is with her, and knows her enough to be patient with her, gently guiding her with questions until she figures out what she's really hung up about. After all the misunderstandings that have occurred due to poor communication, it's great to see them able to talk things out.
- And this leads to the next heartwarming moment, where Tsuzuri finally makes up with Sachi, and the latter gifts her a heartfelt song she'd wanted to give to the club since before she left.
- Chapter 14:
- At the climax of the chapter, the girls reach out to everyone they know for help, and are able to get enough mobile data to stream their concert and win the Love Live! regionals. Made all the better by the fact that they made this into a game event, allowing the players to be among those contributors and be able to feel directly connected to the story.
- Chapter 15:
- After everything they've been through, Kaho finally being the one to comfort Kozue instead of the other way around, promising to win Love Live! with her the next year.
- Chapter 17:
- While Megumi is at first depressed thinking Rurino had surpassed her, Rurino manages to comfort her, and reassure her that both of them can do things the other can't, and that they need each other to be the best they can be and enthrall the world like they'd promised.
- Chapter 18:
- A small moment in Cerise Bouquet's section, with Kozue inviting Kaho to her home and sharing a little of her childhood with her.
- The second-years pouring everything they have into creating a song for Sachi's graduation, and all the memories that go along with it.
