"We're on another road now...We're all coming home now." - Rachel Aggs, Another Road
My children, I am proud of you. You may not remember me, but I have never and will never forget you. Take care of one another. Be strong, be good, and know that I am never far away.
Amma, translated by Hilda

Contains unmarked spoilers. You Have Been Warned!

  • The movie's grand finale. No words needed.
  • Even though Hilda is horrified to be turned into a Troll, seeing Hilda smile or cry or looking awkward while in her Troll form made Hilda look two times cuter!
  • Trylla reacts to Hilda's vitriol with patience, showing her how Troll society isn't so different from human society, and shows Hilda that being a Troll has some upsides. Hilda even starts having fun leaping around and climbing things she wouldn't have been able to as a human.
  • Despite Frida's disruptive behavior in class, Ms. Hallgrim visibly approves of her actions in protesting the misleading and inaccurate account of Trolls in the Safety Patrol demonstration video, smiling when she leads the class in a walk-out protest and defending her students' actions in protesting against the Safety Patrol's implementation of bells.
  • After being forced by the Safety Patrol's presence to call off her search, Johanna is left worrying about Hilda. Alfur proceeds to assure her that Hilda will be able to manage herself.
  • After she makes Baba cry, Johanna quickly apologizes and proceeds to console the baby with a hug.
  • Some of the Trolls on the mountain help to remove each others' bells.
  • Though she is not willing to get involved in trying to change Hilda back to human form, Kaisa assures Frida and David that Hilda will find a way back.
  • Frida and David trying to restore Hilda's humanity and help Johanna find her, even if their attempts at both are for naught.
  • Hilda and Trylla bonding by roaring on the top of a mountain.
  • Tontu bringing Johanna a cup of warm tea after she gets out of bed without having slept all night.
  • When Frida and David offer to help Johanna find Hilda, Johanna thanks them for their willingness to help and remarks that they really are the best friends Hilda could ever have. However, she DOES trick them into getting off at David's house and refuses to bring them along and let them endanger themselves.
  • Hilda and Johanna finally reuniting after being apart. Johanna even sheds Tears of Joy upon Hilda leaping into her arms.
Johanna: Oh, I can't believe I found you! I didn't know what to do. I... I was losing my... I am so sorry.
Hilda: Mum, it's okay. We found each other; that's all that matters.
    • What makes it more adorable is that their reunion is a reference to the season 1 episode, "The Bird Parade", where Hilda leaps into Johanna's arms with the same energy.
  • Upon seeing a belled Troll in despair trying to remove the bell on its nose, Frida helps remove it, just as Hilda did in the first episode.
  • After spending the entire series constantly worrying about Hilda's safety, Johanna decides to trust Hilda to be able to resolve the crisis.
  • David's mother jumping to save her son from falling debris from the shattered bell tower above him.
  • Hilda meets up with David and Frida when Frida saves her from one of the trolls.
  • Likewise, Trylla saves Johanna, Alfur, Tontu, Twig, and Baba when Trundle is killed.
  • When the earthquake begins worsening, Hilda, Frida, and David embrace in a group Security Cling, protecting each other.
    • When Baba begins advancing through the wall, Hilda runs to Baba and they embrace in a tight hug.
  • Towards the end, Hilda, Frida, David, and Johanna join hands together as they walk towards the center of town with the rest of the trolls.
  • The Trolls finally reuniting with their mother, and Amma's words to them.
  • Amma could have woken up to be with her children at any time she wanted. But she didn't, out of kindness for the people of Trolberg.
  • Everything in the ending epilogue:
    • Erik Ahlberg earning a medal for his act of heroism and after retiring at the same time, he gives his hat to Gerda promoting her to Head Chief, as a parting gift.
    • The Night of the Trolls—a night where, once a year, the Trolls are peacefully allowed into Trolberg to reunite with Amma, as part of an initiative by Gerda. Unfortunately, the Fantastic Racism against trolls is too ingrained in Trolberg's culture to be anywhere near going away, but it has been mitigated, and Hilda believes that in time, trolls and humans will learn to live alongside each other peacefully. Heck, there are images in the end credits that heavily imply at least some humans have taken to befriending the Trolls after the events of the movie.
    • Hilda, Johanna, Alfur, Twig, and Tontu having a tea party with Baba as she comes for a visit.
    • Hilda, Trylla, Twig, and Baba running up the mountain together and then gazing at the night sky as an Opening Shout-Out to the show's theme song.
    • Trundle's brother honoring him, showing that despite the two ultimately having become enemies, he still considered him family.
