  • A minor example, but the Online Protagonists celebrating after a successful heist.
    • Or when they hug each other at the end of Doomsday Heist Act III's finale.
  • Christmas time in Los Santos can be strangely heartwarming in that, even in a crime-ridden town, the Holidays can still be appreciated and celebrated by even the hardest of killers. Anywhere you go in your businesses, there are Christmas decorations and a tree. Even in the Diamond Casino Christmas is acknowledged with upside-down diamond-shaped trees, and the background is raining both diamonds and snowflakes.
  • Watching the player character get giddy over spinning the wheel at the Diamond Casino is cute, especially when they win one of the better prizes.
  • Though Vincent gets fired in the end of the Diamond and Casino Resort plot, it's still nice to see Thornton allow everyone else to keep their jobs and finally allow Tom Connors to pop open a bottle of Champagne.
  • The Diamond Casino Heist has a few of these, and much needed ones after the bitterness of the previous plotline related to it.
  • The fact that Patricia Madrazo is finally being shown some sort of gratitude by someone other than Trevor in the Cayo Perico Heist. She's seen having a good time in the Music Locker and having fun with other patrons, and is shown to be loved by the guests both at the Music locker and at the after-party when the online protagonist (or protagonists) rob El Rubio successfully for the first time.
    • It should also be noted that when Miguel becomes distraught over being unable to impress his father, Patricia thanks the protagonists on her son's behalf.
  • The Contract update shows in front of Frankin's house a car that belongs to Tanisha, along with a plaque in front of his house with "The Clintons" engraved on it. Not only that, Children's toys and a slide can be found in his backyard, and he explicitly mentions having kids in a conversation with Lamar. At some point, Tanisha may have ended her relationship with her jerkass doctor, got back with Franklin and founded a family.
  • The Contract has a rescue mission that involves Franklin sending the protagonist to rescue a Crusading Lawyer, and he reveals in the process that he has lawyers on the books that deal with human rights and corporate corruptions. Want to feel like the good guy for once or at the very least, get paid without feeling like the bad guy? Essentially this update allows that to be the case.
  • The ending of the Short Trip mission "OG Kush" sees Lamar taking the opportunity to crash his and Franklin's currently burning literal weed van into a Tequi-La-La to attract potential customers there. And it worked. Lamar was clearly overwhelmed with joy (even giving Franklin a noogie at one point) seeing that his business is finally going off on a high note despite all the struggle he and Franklin had to endure against the Vagos for the entire mission string.
  • For Nightclub owners, the Criminal Enterprises update now allows them to take passed-out VIPs home or to the hospital if they're bad enough in condition. It's nice to know that despite being a hardened criminal, the player still has the ability to look after an everyday person...though, in the case of passed-out oil tycoon associates, it's probably just not to get on their bad side.
  • The fact that the Fooliganz are so accepting of you the minute you meet them in the Los Santos Drug Wars update.
  • Most of the passengers you drive in missions get pissed off if you keep crashing into stuff. Dax? He cordially jokes about his own terrible driving, showing he’s that chill. It can be a nice change of pace to drive with someone who’s more empathetic when you make a mistake driving.
  • As of the Los Santos Drug Wars updates, the player can now thwart robberies at convenience stores and return the stolen money to the owner much like the original three protagonists could...of course, they can also keep the money for themselves.
