  • Episode 2: Even though Hakuno had just met Saber, he refused to sell her to Shinji, thereby losing a chance to live a normal life. It is hinted that he cares for Saber in some way.
  • Episode 4: Rani setting lights out and tending to the graves of fallen Masters in the Second Floor. Even after almost a thousand years, she feels they at least deserve to be mourned for.
  • Episode 5:
    • Witnessing Rani bleeding out and despite being encouraged by the ghosts driving him forward to keep moving, Hakuno instead runs out to save her.
    • Archer ultimately kept fighting in the way that he felt Dan wanted him to at the end, rather than targeting the Masters directly, in the hopes of keeping up his pride after his original death.
      • Even Dan's grave is laid out exactly where he wanted in accordance to the craft materials in Fate/Grand Order:
"I beseech you, when I die, lay my body to rest beneath a yew tree."
  • Episode 7:
    • The layer's oversized dolls, formerly holding hands, are waving goodbye as Alice appears one last time to wish Hakuno luck. May cross over with Tearjerker in context.
    • There's a brief blink and you miss it moment where Hakuno and Saber are holding hands. It's really sweet.
  • Episode 9:
    • After the reality of his existence as a Dead Face, who was merely the accumulated hatred and despair of all previous masters, and was only partially the reincarnated Hakuno Kishinami, our protagonist falls into despair. As soon as Saber wakes up, he is prepared to abandon their quest and give everything up, feeling absolutely unworthy. Saber's simple reply was to Bright Slap him back into shape, telling him that despite it all, she was his Servant and they were going to see this Grail War to the end, citing the fact she too, is essentially an existence that should not actually exist, having died thousands of years ago. Saber was able to gaze into a man whose soul was, for all intents and purposes, Made of Evil, and gave him hope to resist despair. She stared at a being who was pretty much as rotten as Kotomine, and all but told him that she loved him.
  • Episode 10:
    • Hakuno realizes the Awful Truth behind the 6th floor, and Rin and Rani's recording tell him to kill either one of them to break the stalemate, and put the both of them out of their misery. Hakuno's answer? He uses one of the many skills he has thanks to being the gestalt of all previous dead masters to revive BOTH Rin and Rani, thus breaking the stalemate WITHOUT killing. Heartwarming? Because it proves that even a Dead Face CAN be more than a walking bag of curses and grudges. Though it shortly crosses into Tear Jerker when Rani dies shortly after Rin wakes up.
    • Post-credits, Rin paying her respects to the grave Hakuno made for Rani before leaving the 6th floor.
  • Finale:
    • Doubling as a Tear Jerker, after Hakuno succeeds in gaining access to the Angelica Cage, Saber is ready to die alone - only for Hakuno to return and tell her he sent Rin so he could fulfill a promise he made as the original Female Hakuno that Saber wouldn't be by herself at the end, complete with Saber briefly seeing Hakuno as his former female incarnation making that same vow.
