• Even though the ending to Conchita and Carlos' relationship was mildly horrifying, it was sweet in its own way. Before she makes her contract her slowly comes to see past her appearance and learn to care about her despite his misgivings about being wed to someone he barely knows. Banica for her part was slowly getting over her nervousness upon first meeting him and loosening up. He even notes that she'd been smiling more. Despite the engagement being broken off he never really stops caring about her, and he ultimately becomes one of the few people she still loves after becoming a sin contractor.
• Despite the disturbing nature of the scene, there is something ultimately heartwarming about Banica refusing to eat the baby conceived from a night between her and Carlos and eating herself instead. The narrative says she looks upon its sleeping, peaceful face and though she doesn't know why, she feels happy. Said baby ends up living a full life after it's discovered in the mansion. Originally Juno Beelzenia herself was going to raise it, before being sent to one of her servants.
