Doki Doki Takeover, and especially its final update, have plenty of heartwarming moments, a welcome break from the horrors previously seen back in Doki Doki Literature Club!. It can even border on being Sweet Dreams Fuel for many.

- Monika realizing her mistake and restoring everything back to normal, as well as Monika and Senpai's reconciliation and bonding at the end where they agree to perform a voluntary duet together this time.
- Also the ending where Monika returns home and fixes her world, saving Boyfriend and reconciling with him.
- The mere fact that Everyone Lives in the ending: The Literature Club remains and everything ends happily for everyone. Even the MC of the original game gets to be his own person rather than just a puppet for the player. He also notes that getting into singing, which she clearly enjoys, has really done wonders for Sayori's mental health. She mentions this to Monika during the Encore week.“Seeing how much good we’ve been doing... It helps give me a reason to get out of bed every morning, knowing that we were able to accomplish this. It’s still hard for me to keep those happy thoughts in mind, but it’s getting better, bit-by-bit each day. It makes me more grateful each day that we were able to start the club.”
- The Encore Week is nothing short of heartwarming, with Monika sharing her advice with her friends, singing melodies with them and bonding further as a result. She even expresses her heartfelt thanks to Sayori for keeping the club going in her absence.

- For the end of the Protagonist's week, the player themselves can play Shipper on Deck and choose which of the four girls MC will duet with. And unlike the original game, there's no railroading involved, meaning that even Monika can get a chance to be with the guy if you so desire.
- The entire Plus update's final ending. The entire Literature Club is now free to go between their world and the FNF universe whenever they wish, and Monika couldn't be more happier for Boyfriend and Girlfriend providing them that opportunity.
- In the "Wilted" side story, it's revealed that, while they may not be "real" in a sense, Monika still values her world and her friends above anything, and is completely unwilling to go down the dark path Senpai is going down.
- Amidst the menu cameos, there's one animation with Sayori cuddling Grey, who is reminded of his own father. It's really sweet to see him have comfort after the crap he went through in his mod of origin.
