Despite the surviving characters having to hide and endure the Corruption, they still have their moments where they take their time to care for each other.
Unmarked spoilers for the entirety of Corruption Expanded and some late arrival spoilers for Friday Night Funkin': Corruption.
Week 1
General
- Even as Sarvente is endangered by the presence of Evil Skid and Pump, she believes them to be innocent children that are being tormented by the Corruption. Her first action to confronting them is by ensuring they are saved, even if it costs her life.
- As she slowly uncorrupts Skid from his Corruption, Sarvente is always comforting him during the cutscenes to assure to him that he and Pump will be saved.
Week 2
General
- For this week to happen, Ruv receives a message from Sarvente and in spite of not knowing as to what had happened to her, Ruv is willing to risk his life in a dangerous mission to save Sarvente at her church. No matter how much of an obstacle Evil Pico is to him, Ruv plows forward at all of the former's taunting and raps, just so Sarvente is saved.
- Although Ruv is no longer with Sarvente, he can at least find comfort from the fact he has Kapi, Carol, and Sunday to get along with.
Blasphemy
- Ruv and Kapi having a conversation together with the latter wishing to get Ruv something.
- The moment Ruv receives a distress signal from Sarv, he immediately answers her call and is eager to help her in a situation where she is in danger.
- Before Ruv leaves for Sarvente, his allies being, Kapi, Sunday, and Carol are all supportive towards him and wish to assist him on his journey. Even though Ruv demands that they stay, it is only to protect them and give them rest inside their base.
- Although Ruv made his decision to leave his allies, before leaving, he makes sure to confront Evil Pico and make sure the latter is driven away, so that Ruv's group is safe from the Corruption.
Presledovanila
- After losing to Evil Pico in the first round, Ruv is given a phone by Sunday, so they could communicate with each other, while they both work together as they battle Evil Pico on top of a limousine.
Rebellion
- Regardless of Carl and Joe being unaware of Captain John's Uncertain Doom, both are willing to risk their lives to protect Ruv from the Corruption, since they believe it to be a way in honoring their former captain's name.
- In the interactions between Carl and Joe, the latter notices Carl's nervousness and understands that him being a recent recruit of the Tankman army. To comfort Carl, Joe proclaims to him that they will be the greatest duo ever, because they will be the saviors in assisting Ruv battle the Corruption.
- Just as Evil Pico taunts Ruv for believing Sarvente can be saved, Joe comes into the rescue by interrupting Evil Pico with a gunshot, which allows Ruv to gain the confidence in preparing for the final battle.
- Once Ruv finally reaches the church, he is met by Evil Sarvente, and he realizes that he was too late to save her. Rather than grovel in defeat, Ruv works himself even harder to save her, because there is still a chance she could be freed from the Corruption.
- The moment Evil Mommy Mearest arrives and Ruv is put onto his knees, he still refuses to give into the Corruption. What motivates him to continue rap battling is by hearing Pico's request to be killed. Despite the fact that Pico is a complete stranger to him, Ruv is prepared to gather his remaining strength to grant him a Mercy Kill.
