Several moments in this series are meant to touch the viewer and they succeed.
Episode Five- VR
- Eve initially isn’t interested at all in playing the request Lily took but when she sees her younger sisters under the table, Eve remembers who she’s fighting for and goes off to make money.
- Lily and the kids eating the pizza in its entirety is quite touching, given their situation.
- Aoi and Eve’s reunion is extremely adorable and shows how much the two have grown to care about one another.
Episode Secen- Purple (Aoi) Bullet
- Eve names her new curved shot after the girl who taught to it her in VR.
Episode Eight- Final Bullet
- Seeing Eve and her family win so much money is very cathartic after all they have been through.
- Seeing Klein being registered as everyone’s “parent/guardian” and everyone last name being “Clara” brings home the found family relationship they share.
- Eve’s train departure with Klein and Lily manages to tug on the heartstrings very well.
Episode Nine- Ichina Saotome Wants to Be a Pro Caddy!
- It is sweet how Eve is still thinking of Lily (Ichina reminds her of her) even though they just separated.
- After being apart for so long, Aoi immediately jumps to hug Eve. Eve dodges it, though.
