• With Sir Topham Hatt out looking for Thomas around the world, Mr. Percival takes over handling the North Western in his absence, when he gets the phone call from the signalman in India that Thomas has been spotted there and is heading home to the Island of Sodor. Mr. Percival is ecstatic when he hears it and starts celebrating before he catches himself and recovers. All while the reprisal of "We're Friends" is playing.
  Mr. Percival/Thin Controller: Hello? Yes, it is. Thomas? India?! Back to Sodor?!? THANK YOU!!! HA HA HA!!!
• Doubles as a Tear Jerker, but the reprise of "We're Friends" being sung as Thomas and Nia cross the bridge back to Sodor from the UK, and arrive back at Knapford Railway Station to find Mr. Percival, Sir Robert, the Mayor of Sodor, Philip, Emily, Percy, Gordon, Henry, James, Edward, Donald & Douglas, Diesel, Daisy, and many more, waiting for Thomas with a large "Welcome Home" banner strung across the signal gantry with balloons, overjoyed to see Thomas back home safe and sound following his worldwide journey, having missed him deeply.
  • Even Gordon admits that, despite Thomas' earlier prank with the stinky fish trucks and the Express, he missed Thomas as well.
• They also welcome Nia to the North Western with open arms as well, showing she will have a good home and great friends while working on the Island of Sodor.
  Emily: "Hi, Nia!"
  Gordon: "Hello."
  James: "Welcome to Sodor!"
  Nia: "Thank you! And hello to all of you, too!"
