- Let's start with the first major one: the left-side ending of PSYNCIN' IN THE PaiN, AKA Mizuki's Somnium at the start of the flowchart. You finally manage to get past all of Mizuki's mental locks, and you can finally interact with her. What's the solution? Give her a hug. Aiba holds Mizuki to her chest as Mizuki screams and cries into it, finally able to express her grief.
- Also how Date gets Mizuki to calm down. He's trying to talk her down, getting her as relaxed as possible. At the end, he promises to take her out to eat. You, the player, have to look at her file to see what she would like to eat. Which means that you and Date both make a conscious effort to connect with her. The Stew option is also heartwarming because Date talks to her like how a father or beloved family member would, reminding her of that good time they had together and how he'll do it with her again.
Pewter: Her heart rate is dropping back to normal. - Date talking with Mizuki in Mama's bar has several. One is that it turns out that Renju got drunk and admitted to Date that he was a bad father and eventually gave custody to Date. It's also a tear jerker as it's a father realizing that he can't take care of his child, but loves her more than enough to put her in a better household.
- Also a minor one is that Date asks if Mizuki has kissed anyone. When she says she hasn't, Date's thought is a relieved "Oh, thank God".
- One possible way to interpret Date's distaste and desire to hurt Ota. Because his 12 year old daugh—Roommate was friends with a 24 year old man. When Ota reveals that he never went to their apartment because she said "Her roommate would have gone ballistic", Date thinks: "good girl".
- Despite everything, Pewter honestly loved Renju. To the point in the Annihilation Route he leaks National Classified secrets to Date to make sure he gets the killer of the New Cyclops Murders.
- Further more, the fact he made Aiba to give oxytocin to Date (though that might through the urging of Shizue) was very nice, especially since they could have made his eyeball non sentient, the fact Date was given a companion above all else shows that there was a genuine desire to help him there.
- The revelation that Iris was adopted by Hitomi after her biological mother's death. Hitomi had been planning for revenge against So Sejima for Manaka's murder, but spending her life and raising Iris as her own made her love Iris more than anything else and forget about vengeance; it isn't until Iris gets brain cancer and in need of a expensive operation that Hitomi uses Manaka's corpse as leverage against So to get the money.
- The ending of Ota's route, which sees him reconcile with his mother and start working hard to support her through her dementia. This even carries over to the true ending.
- The ending of Mizuki's route has her diving into Date's Somnium to awaken him, which is full of his memories of her. Her jumping into Date's arms when he finally does wake up will melt your heart.
- The second command to activate her self-destruct is a lie. What is the lie? "I hate you, Aiba. I hate you and I never want to see you again." They both know well what he truly meant.
- There's also the logic as to why she obeyed Date, despite being stuck into Saito's body: Aiba was connected to Date to his very soul. Even after swapping back to his original body, which had no physical ties to him, she would still continue to listen to him.
- Aiba coming back in the true ending after her Heroic Sacrifice, a surprise gift to Date from Shizue and Iris.
