In Pegasus's Toon World event, it's indicated he's from the anime as he needles Bandit Keith over getting dropped in the ocean, asking Keith if he had a nice swim. However, in Paradox's event, it's instead stated that Pegasus is the one from the manga. Are they going to have to pull a Retcon on the earlier line or something?
The end of Paradox event actually answers this : Duel Links simply have the DM world characters receive memories of the anime events when necessary, as indicated by Yugi not knowing Jaden and Yusei initially, but then suddenly receive memories of their duel together. And for Pegasus' case much earlier, it's likely the animeverse memories are brought up as it is 'safer' to be spoken of as compared to Pegasus eliminating Bandit Keith via a Shadow Game in the mangaverse.
