Headscratchers / Vampire: The Masquerade — Out for Blood

• How are the vampires able to survive in Jericho? The area surrounding Chicago is swarming with werewolves - and Of B seems to acknowledge this because the PC even sees one in the very first chapter! And yet, this is moments away from meeting Monroe. A normal vampire would have been torn to shreds, yet Thinbloods seem to be able to tramp around the park right under the noses of at least one werewolf. Even if they're too Thinblooded to smell too strongly of the Wyrm, it's heavily implied that at least Perry is not actually Thinblooded due to a history of diablerie as seen in a vision by the PC, along with their strong clan bane, and it also doesn't explain why the werewolf hasn't done anything about Chastain, who's generation 13 at the lowest, or Damien. Werewolves also never remain alone, so there must be an entire pack living in the park who don't seem to care at all that there's at least seven vampires right under their noses.
  • It's a big World of Darkness and it being a small town means it's probably being overlooked by the Garou. The Thin Bloods are also new arrivals.
