• If the Vittra promised not to attack Forening until Wendy becomes Queen, why didn't Elora swallow her pride and marry Garrett Strom, giving Willa a shot at the crown?
  • Elora clearly states in book two that she wanted Wendy to be the next queen, but marrying Garrett Strom would have elevated Willa’s status from Marksinna to princess. Because Willa is older than Wendy, this would have thrown off the line of succession.
