- Could it be that every meeting that Jiro has with Caproni was just a dream/daydream? While it's entirely possible that they actually did meet and Caproni's workers and their families were actually in his dream, could it be that Jiro just dreamt them all up? And by extension, did Jiro just dream Naoko's last words to him?
- Both, perhaps.
- I don't believe it's ever implied that Hiro actually met the real Caproni. All the times we see him in person are during dreams, which Caproni occasionally references when he's talking to Jiro.
