• Was there any in-story reason behind Kup becoming a massive jerk towards Optimus after the Autobot leader was resurrected? At first, Kup acted like he did in the cartoon, a Cool Old Guy who has Seen It All and almost always has a story at the ready. Come The Pri¢e of Life! and he's much ruder towards Optimus and by the time of Regeneration One, Roadbuster tells Kup that he's making the situation with Fang worse by giving the crowd something to focus on and the Wreckers are also questioning Kup's tactics, pretty much indicating the Autobots hate Kup and would have abandoned him to die long ago if not for the fact that he actually pulls his weight.
