Water earthbending
- How did Yun use Earthbending like water without heating it?
- He likely pulverized it down to a very fine powder, finer even then sand, and bent that. Sandbenders are already a thing, and Yun has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to reshape the earth on a very fine level easily.
- Rocky substances turning into a liquid-like substance without heat does actually occur in nature. Liquefaction happens during earthquakes.
Jianzhu and Father Glowworm
- None of Kuruk's companions knew he was fighting spirits. Multiple people confirm this, and Jianzhu himself is dismissive of Kuruk's partying and early death, so he didn't know about it either. Then how did he know about Father Glowworm?
- He says right there in the chapter that he read Kuruk's private journals. Presumably Kuruk wasn't entirely forthcoming in the journal — Jianzhu is still dismissive of him after reading it — but he says enough for Jianzhu to know that Father Glowworm would be able to identify Kuruk's reincarnation without fail.
- He's a premier sage in the Earth Kingdom to begin with. He could have run into Father Glowworm, and do you really think he of all spirits would be that forthcoming to Jianzhu?. Honestly, Jianzhu may have very well been seeking after Glowworm when Kuruk's successor didn't turn up, as he may have heard he was powerful and knowledgeable.
