• If Ichabod Crane was so freaked out by Brom's "Headless Horseman" tale, why didn't he simply leave the party at the same time as some of the other guests so he wouldn't have to ride back to town alone?
  • He stays after the other guests have left to speak privately with Katrina — most likely to propose marriage, only to be rejected, since she's implied to have just been stringing him along to tease Brom.
